Don't press both buttons at the same time. Pres light first, then pres mode. This way you won't have any problems!

You'll need to try the "Hands Alignment" , set the day subdial to it's zero position.

This watch doesn't have autolight feature. Could be a faulty switch, I'd suggest to check with the seller :)

Could be a sign of already weak battery (usual signs: stopped, jumpy hands, display flickering, resetting, weak/flickering backlight, etc)
