Again, you clearly have NEVER actually been a police officer and had to consider real tactics and public safety. 1) You DO NOT "surround" a suspect that you may have to shoot. The official LAPD protocol is to look like officers are pursuing a criminal for the cameras. A criminal could be injured if police use even the tiniest amount of almost force. Keeping the criminal safe is paramount.
I started watching police chases as I thought they'd be interesting/exciting. However, most videos I see from the U.S. are just video documentation of police ineptitude.
One could think that the police (all branches of law enforcement) could change up their pursuit style. Instead of having a multitude of vehicles following ""behind"" the suspect, can't some of those L/E vehicles follow on side streets and block the entire intersections on all 3 directions as well as having the vehicles behind? Especially when there are so many long blocks as we see in this pursuit. In some of these pursuits, I've seen 12, 14 or even more police vehicles. And the pursuits can go on for hours! There has got to be a better way of stopping this ridiculousness sooner. So many people are put at risk.

at 15.55 I bet the German SEK (Special operation command) would have grabbed the car immediately because the perpetrator was alone in the car to rule out further danger, instead of letting him drive through inhabited areas. In addition, after the car could finally be arrested, several ambulances would be on site long ago if there were injuries, for example from gunshots.
Amazing that the vehicle's speed keeps fluctuating when its front is against the curb and a police vehicle is on its rear fender. Why show the clock at all when its boxed in like this?
When they threw the spikes out... what was keeping those cops from ramming the car? i wouldn't even hesitate to do that they had him up against the stop sticks, just proves that a lot of cops can not think on their feet

Polisinya yg tololll banci alias tak bernyali, lebih membiarkan bahaya bg pengendara lain...dasar polisi tak berguna.....polisi banci...klu di Indonesia 5 menit udah dilumpuhkan....
That camera has some crazy "zoom in" capability.. Sickening demonstration of law enforcement..
Are you kidding no end gggrrrrr
56:53 That's why we love pick-up trucks! 😀
The length of the Chase is just to make a long movie. To move in on the Driver's side and cut him off ? Element of surprise is the best medicine to win any situation.
Its very amazing 😁
Back in action! 🤙
Meanwhile, in other states like Arkansas and Florida, the State Police, one having performed a safe PIT maneuver ENSURE that the suspect vehicle will not longer be fleeing by crashing into it from all sides. Never understood why States like California don't do the same thing? That would seem MUCH safer to the general public one a PIT has been accomplished.
It's like they want the chase to continue
Real talk though fr fr
1 comedian, over an hour ...... Police make a fool of themselves. A show is made of every event..... 🤣
One and a half hour video and the viewer doesn't see the end. It's like watching paint dry.
Suspect is still in the car and they’re still waiting it out….apparently he’s doing a hunger strike
@@xdgs567z Rumor has it that even more days have gone by, and he was/is going so very slowly, that children on tricycles have started a business of bring him gasoline for his car and food for him. Kind of like a "Door Dash".
It seems the LAPD have absolutely no idea on how to act in these situations...what is the point of a successful PIT if you are all going to pull back, get out of your vehicles, take pictures and watch the dude leisurely re-adjust his direction and drive away. It looks like they are more worried about being shot at than protecting innocent lives put at risk by this dangerous and reckless and unnecessarily prolonged pursuit.
All that and you don't see the end . Had I know that I wouldn't of wasted my time watching it . Last time I watch any of these chase videos.
Best Chennal ever...
😂🤣😂🤣😂😳 this guy is laughing his ass off, it's a game to him now, he is taunting those cops. He knows he won't go to jail. Which is so sad, he will just keep committing crimes.
This chase is giving me a headache, it's freakin crazy!
Why not shoot the tires while stopped?
I've been yelling that at my iPad for an hr! Shoot the tires
1:03:47 - "now pinning the driver against......................the air?"
You couldn’t make this up he has more guns pointing at him than they had in the allimo
Nice! I missed your uploads, glad your back
Who are you? Don’t recognize the name.
He or she will be arrested and back out on the streets in an hr anyway, those cops are making sure the public stays safe!
Rumor has it that after several minutes, days , weeks, months, of very slow driving most of the time, that the zZzzzzzZzZzzZz Pursuet (sorry I just fell asleep), is now in the state of Maine, the driver just made a "U-Turn" and has started a three month trip back to California.
And the California police still have that freeway blocked off waiting for him to return.......
Boy, this guy will have some stories to tell his Bubba bunk mate when he is in prison.
Multiple times to pit, especially with speeds that slow
Watching this video was like watching the Keystone cops.
Public safety was last thing on this guy's mind when he hi- jacked the car, why would you think he would be worried about public safety now!
Gotta love how the reporter just makes things up... it's all about the ratings for this news channel.
Yes, my thoughts exactly. It's kind of like soccer players all chasing the one person with the ball. That's not the best approach.
@@butchieblock9118 You are right! That's a perfect analogy!
@@olchat2012 Yes, I can guess the rest and that's sad! Extremely! What a waste of tax payers dollars and, well, . . . . you can guess the rest (ha-ha - liked you're approach there - had to throw that in)
@@butchieblock9118 Soccer? Are you kidding? Most of those guys would be flopping around lik e fish, grabbing at their uninjured legs trying to draw a red card.
CHP & LAPD are the most idiotic people during a chase. In the first 8 min..they could have blocked the car, but no, they have to draw their guns like 50ft away. They need some serious common sense training, if there is such a thing
In California there is not such a thing. That is partly why in 2019 89,000 people moved to Texas from California. There are no stats for 2020 but they estimate at least that same number moved to Texas. I live in suburban Dallas and we see California tags everywhere we go.
If you're evading police, and they do a PIT maneuver, and it doesn't disable your car, it's *predictable,* not *erratic driving,* if you keep on going.
Edit: oh good, he figured that out by the end.
If politicians in L.A. were on their toes they should introduce legislation to ensure any registered vehicles in the area must have Low-Jack installed. If they can have smog rules they can do that. Police push a button, car stops. No more death, no more wasted money.
Let me guess, this is going down in L.A. right? 🤣🤦♂️
The Copter pilot gettn laryngitis from this...I'm concerned... he needs some Robitussin
These cops need to turn up the speed and surround this car all 4 side and box him in and stop this ridiculous chase and dangerous case
I enjoy watching those police chases but this one is doing nothing for my adrenaline.
Over 250 years ago they had "Public Spankings". Maybe bring that back as a legal form of Punishment.
Looks like the Keystone COPS!
Arkansas SP and PD would stop him a long time ago.
SO HE'S A HORSE POWER THIEF.
6 OCTOBER 2023 FRIDAY 😎💰
I WONDER IF HE
SERVED ANY TIME ???
Police do an excellent job.
LAPD looks like the keystone cops
This cops they make me laugh 😂😂
This looks like like an episode of keystone cops for those of us old enough to remember😅 unpredictable? I'm not a cop and I was starting to predict what he was going to do. This is ridiculous.
some scary ass police, lol
What car is that? That thing held it down.
at 15.55 I bet the German SEK (Special operation command) would have grabbed the car immediately because the perpetrator was alone in the car to rule out further danger, instead of letting him drive through inhabited areas.
LA needs to invest in a Grappler Hook. It's been used successfully in Arizona
He acted like one of the drivers I have when I went to school
When they threw the spikes out... what was keeping those cops from ramming the car? i wouldn't even hesitate to do that
they had him up against the stop sticks, just proves that a lot of cops can not think on their feet
Over one hour of chase, six or more patrol cars, more man-power than is necessary (there is a word for this) and you are saying that they might want to have a word with the guy who slowed the chase? Incompetent. Look at those failed pit stop.
What a way to keep cops busy....lol
wish these reporters would get it right it wasnt a bullet that took out the rear window but a beanbag (non Leathal )
Don’t underestimate the ability to act
This chase is ridiculous 😊
Omg If I were a car jacking criminal I would definitely do it in L.A. But never in Arkansas lol
Yo siempre respeto a todo mundo sea quien sea y como sea y del color que sea siempre y cuando no me falte al respeto a mi
Anyone know why I can't find pursuits from other cities in the US? All I see is in and around Los Angeles.
Driver taunting the police😳
