What surprised me about him is that his taunt is actually very reliable and most of the time he dosent need a shield. Paired with Lynette enemies will almost never attack you.

i think performance-wise, he isn't necessarily disappointing its just mono pyro not being a very useful archetype, i will say his lore makes up for his kit if you've played the archon quest/his story quest anytime! glad you enjoyed the video, really nice to see you turn up :D
I do think lavawalker is the most underrated set on him. If you've been farming the pyro set for a while and happen to get a good set, he's gonna do miracles with it
If you ever cared to know, furina is rumored to have a skill consuming party hp, then healing it after meeting some criteria. I suspect this gameplay loop will become more common in fontaine.
Thanks for the guide, I liked the teammate comparisons! I like international, so Lyney having the sameish teammates is a pro for me… since I already got them built. I think I’ll try Childe’s taser team next!
glad you enjoyed! :D it is true he's efficient teammate-wise, no need to build new ones! its a double-edged sword using these teammates really since it saves time but then it also begs the question of whether the unit's worthwhile also, if you like childe, stay tuned for his future guide~

@@cosmictrainer2919 i literally just started playing this game like last week... been loving the wanderer + anyone else i find fun combo and it got me all the way to sumeru so hopefully i learn to love more bow users (i know yelan is bow user but i tried her and it just hits diff lol)
@@theerickjasonyelan + wanderer is a crazy overworld combo, use another anemo for ultimate comfort. And yes lyney is definitely not a priority unit for new players over yelan.. :) yelan is literally one of the best characters for the only endgame content we have (exploring+abyss)
anytime! i think mono pyro just isn't a very competitive team archetype since international is so much better, but as a unit i think lynney does fulfil 'mono pyro dps' quite well he's good at his job, but when you look at him from an overall perspective, he's not necessary
