I won my 50/50 to Lyney and I’m actually glad! He’s such an awesome character to play and a great character too!
He was my first character below 70 pity and I was so shocked when the wish turned gold at 39 pulls in and I also won 50/50 to this amazing character
I'm glad i also won 50/50. Got him around 76 rolls. That's early cuz i always got 5star at 76-82 pulls. And... I also got his weapon I only spent 72 pulls (including 50/50 lost got skyward catalyst 1st) then another 69 pulls and viola! So lucky. Now I felt doomed in my future pulls😂. This kind of luck in genshin always has a very heavy kick back in your next pulls. F2p btw😎. Kidding but i feel counted as f2p since welkin don't give that much difference how much primos u can get.

I previously lost to qiqi and got guaranteed yoimiya. Now i lost to qiqi again in lyneys banner (shes c4 now). I was extremely unlucky but im gonna keep pulling on lyneys banner until it ends, never lose hope
Edit: that yoimiya was at 80 pity and this qiqi i got in lyneys banner was at 84 pity
I lost Kazuha 50/50 to C1 Diluc (not too upset since I do like playing him) and managed to pull Lyney on my first single. I was intending to get more Lynette cons, but he's a lot of fun!
btw, if you decide to go Dehya for more comfort and interruption resistance, I def recommend not using her burst. It's a dps loss. She is really just there for E and swipe back.
noob question, can 4pc milelith works on Dehya's elemental skill?
@@jowl012 yes, and it is optimal at low investment dehya team damage wise. however, i believe vorukasha's glow is better for her at high investment team damage wise.
@@riccimochiwhy? If you dont have her, then the result is the same but if u happen to get dehya from 5050 you get a better synergized character. Theres no loss in making dehya better with lyney

LOVE LYNEY, he’s such a great character, I didn’t really used monopyro teams, but with him it’s godly. He’s so strong, mine does up to 160 k just using charged attack. Want to triple crown him, he deserves it! Thanks for vid!

@@lylyart first great magic, lvl 80, talents: normal atk 8, elemental skill 7 and elemental burst is 5. Artefacts is 2 pieces of atk set and 2 pieces of crimson witch.

Literally, I love him so much, he's so convenient and the numbers are ALWAYS satisfying to see. I'm happy that I got him and his bow, definitely gonna triple crown him too
I do 300k just goofing around in overworld, he's amazing
@@lylyart Protoype bow, Aqua Simulacra, Amos Bow, Viridescent Hunt and basically any good bow Are also good choice. For artifacts 4 piece wanderers troupe or 4 piece Maracheuuse (however you spell it) works too. Lyney, despite working best in only mono pyro. Has many options.
Lyney and Lynette are both such cool characters lore-wise. Tbh so are all Fontaine characters so far.. I’m enjoying Fontaine so much after I had about a month of burnout! I’ll finish the desert someday but I’m really having fun with Fontaine
Your hydroculi guide was a life saver
His playstyle vibe is very ayato. You just lay out whatever buffs there are in your team, swap him in, do the easy part.
I’m saving for Neuvilette but Lyney has been tempting. Just finished his story quest and my lazy butt is intrigued.
He’s basically pyro tighnari to me, but easier to build and play. And of course, very strong and solid dps, thanks to pyro.
I was torn between Lyney and Neuvillette and decided Lyney since I already had Ayato and its looking like Neuvillette will have pretty similar teams as Ayato overall. I also preferred Lyney's design a lot more than Neuvillette's, but his animations are super cool so hopefully the hydro archon will follow suit in that category!
Lyney has one of the best story quests.
@@cmcguire7901 if the leaks stand true, it appears that Faruna will work with at least most of fontaine hp-based units. One of the reason why I was skipping Lyneny at first because I’m trying to pull her right after Neu 🥲
@@ScaryYokai i loved it! Very dynamic and relevant to our journey in fontaine, yet focused wholly on Lyney as a character. Nothing seemed out of place even with how long it was. I wish we had more mobs to trial him though.
I had my most underbuilt characters to test his monopyro kit and everything still died too quickly.

c4 yanfei is a good teammate for lyney for extra protection. build lots of hp and er, equip thrilling tales or prototype amber for a little more healing. OR you could replace kazuha with zhongli, sacrifing damage for even more protection

i think dehya is the easiest to use for interrupt res, but since i dont have her ive been using Tankfei on thrilling tales. Yanfei c4 is a life saver lmao and shes been great on my lyney team. i guess you could also use prototype amber on her as well if you want a little extra healing, but i think thrilling tales is a much better option for its atk buff.
I like the recent themes with the Fontaine characters and their ability to self sustain their HP in some way given the right playstyle. Like Lynette and sacrificial sword, or Lyney and the prop stacks.
His C1 really makes his self sustain capabilities stand out even more than his base kit, given the additional prop stack every 15 seconds or so. In his base kit, the only way to get a positive income of prop stacks and not neutral is to use his burst to get one.
Overall, I really like the Fontaine character's kit themes so far. They're all really good for solo character content with how they evidently could not care less for the meaning of HP.
I've been playing him in melt (because I can do what I want!) and NGL the speed buff he gets from his bow when you have theatric stacks, plus Rosaria, is pretty broken for exploration.
Lyney is so fun to play and easy to make do high damage
A bit more niche, but I love using C4 Yanfei (Tankfei) as the third pyro unit for Lyney, it performs fairly well and with a bit of ER on Yanfei it gets good uptime, you just lose out on a bit of Xiangling's damage for the survivability
Lyney is very strong, but he needs some better supports like his current options aren't bad just not ideal
With natlan being the next region for sure there's gonna be some pyro characterd for him

@@simonditomasso9868 Not denying that, but it's not an ideal team it'd be better if we had teammates that didn't require us to be in an enemies face imo
A tip is that in teams with lyney kazuha XL bennet you don't need to stay on field with lyney for a long time, especially with C1, you only really need to do one Charge attack burst and then skill.
I'm so happy I saved for him, originally it was because I liked his design but I ended up falling in love with his personality and gameplay. Happy to have him and his weapon, he's on copium artifacts and he does big funny numbers

My team with Lyney is Xiangling, Bennett, and Zhongli, Xiangling does quite a lot even in non-reaction teams, plus the pyro res decrease and damage bonus are really good. Zhongli also has some resistance shred built into his shield and if you want, you can build him with archaic petra to get even more pyro damage bonus
Even with 2 TERRIBLE artifacts at lvl 0 (just to get the 4pc stat), my Lyney is god mode on damage and one cycles robot chicken. I love him.
What bow are you using on him? Debating on going for sig
sig is super good and i'd go for it if you can!!! but hes got some viable 4 and 5 star options@@Senyoshida
@@SenyoshidaSig is great but most five stars can work as stat sticks. The craftable bow for Fontaine also works on him
Freakin love this character man. Through my testing, I'd say Lyney has a much higher damage floor than HuTao. Great for new players or players with shitty artifacts. Lyney will easily hit 20k-30k on literal garbage arts and level 4 talent.
However I think Hutao's damage ceiling is a bit higher than Lyney. A maxed out HuTao vs a maxed out Lyney, HuTao will still dominate in single target damage. Not to say HuTao is better. As I think I actually prefer having lyneys on demand 2 burst AOE DPS. All in all, a really great character so far.
I personally prefer Lyney since he's easier to play C0 and he doesn't need reactions to do damage. Also possibly because I'm biased. But yes, you make a great point!
I just got lyney today so after I'm done with bennet on to him Im so happy I got him and c3 lynette.
I love lyney and my team with him is: Lyney, Yanfei (for shield from c4 and the 3* weapon that buffs attack), Kazuha and Bennett and its amazing sishsjkssb
I use Lyney, Lyneytte, Dehya and Bennet in overworld. Lynett changes to Kazuha in abbys.
It's really dumb I can do 110k burst with 6/4/4 talents and random ass artifacts. Playing genshin over 2 years and never seen something like this.
yeah it's annoying how bad this abyss is for lyney. it stayed the same because the reset was before the 4.0 update for asia servers, but they should have planned ahead and made it not terrible for him
I don't particular need a Pyro DPS but I may consider pulling for him on a rerun with how strong he is

I have him. I use him with bennet, dehya and sucrose (since I dont have kazuha). Using him with dehya is so comfortable. I guess you can swap Dehya with Xiangling, but I want interruption resistance
I finally got lyney and I love doing coop and using his skill before leaving
The team I decided with him is Kazuha, Bennett and Yanfei C4 and I'm very satisfied with that

The team comp I use for him is Lyney, Bennett, albedo and zhongli. They do insane damage together
Why albedo tho?
"Where you aren't exiting out immediately" Yeah, but it's still gonna be around what, 800-1000 multi or more of just instant damage, plus it adds prop stack? Like it's still super good xD (The burst)
Just for the team, I recommend using zhongli bennet Lyney and kazuha/xiangling because dehya doesn’t give any res shred, unlike zhongli, who gives better interruption resistance too
The artifact domain run for Moga has to be the most painful one in quite a while. (childe please I just need a good flower and sands why do you beseech me?😢)
my lyney has wanderers trooper with 2k atk and 137 crit damage, the weapon is the rist level 80, he's level 80 with normal attack talent level 7, E lvl 6 and Q lvl 6, with bennet, xiangling and zhongli he does 28k first shot and 38k with the following attack, he's pretty op yeah

Hey Moga. In Fontaine at Reputation Level 3 you get a gadget that is basically a trap for crystalflies. You get 15 crystalflies per week. It's not a lot but always something. I'm saying it because it really hurts when you have only 3 crystalflies.
Who needs charge shot attack and shield when you have a super nuke for a burst😂
the "EEEEeeeeEEEeeeEEEEeeeEEE" when Moga is farming never gets old
moga i think u should use a c4 yanfei with hp because at c4 she summons a shield that scales on hp
my hutao team is the strongest team I have so completing this abyss is a nightmare, but yesterday I realised that my hutao team is strong enough to finish the second half of 12-2 even without dendro/electro for the boss so you could probably do it with lyney too
Most built enough characters can clear it without electro
I could with xiangling, because she destroys the two Simon drops before it can go invisible, then Lyney can go nuts

I love his charged and skill but, I have been getting better dps through using his ult. I’m using a really bad crimson set and yet I can constantly hit 47 k, my usual dps is around 10k on my dehya.
I am prefarming for him and doing wishes as I go because I don't have enough primos but I should be capable of getting to hard pity (but 50/50 may happen) and then some until his banner is gone if I fail I will be prepared for next time
Ps this abyss is bad for mono pyro don't use it as a metric to value up the Lynei

hoping fontaine blesses me with good 50/50 luck cuz i just can’t choose. I just got kokomi, so Lyney is unlikely (he’s gonna come home on a rerun tho!), but idk how hyv expects me to pick between Navia, Furina, and Chlorinde.

So glad i got Lyney, for some reason my Lyney uses a claymore and people call him batman
I have C0R1 Lyney at 80/80 talents 8/5/7 2500atk and 75/250 crit ratio with 2pc Atk 2pc Crimson
He just absolutely shreds everything like i tried highest nuke dmg for his burst skill combo and it was like 128k+345k from burst and 316k from following skill
(On scara boss)
So total like 750-800k dmg which i find insane since its a no reaction dmg
It's really shocking he deals THAT much damage so easy.
U can go woth zhongli with the geo petra set

ps: bennett’s c6 only works on melee characters, so doesn’t affect lyney. however, they still have synergy as benny is currently the only pyro healer and as mentioned, he also buffs tremendously. but bennett has synergy with literally every character in the game, so no surprises haha
Benett's Pyro damage boost from his c6 works with Lyney he just can't infuse since he is a bow user. The wording on the constellation is misleading he can only infuse melee weapons but the bonus applies to all weapons. I was pretty sure it was correct but I double checked and Lyney has 46.6% Pyro damage but in Bennett's burst he has 61.6% which is the same as Xiangling she has 46.6% before burst and 61.6% in his burst.

You gotta try Thoma, he increases charge attack by 16% and you get resistance against interruption, plus he’s pyro.
Thoma doesn’t really work because you have to use normal attacks to keep his shield up
it's not that bad, if you don't forget to do that. I have c6 Thoma and I play Bennet Thoma Kazuha Lyney. Not the worst option when Zhongli is taken in the other team. I'd definetely prefer a new pyro shield tho.@@akamistify
I don't recommend using thoma though. He works better if you pair with scara but only wjen he is c6. If you have xiangling amd bennett better to use them with anemo or zhongli as shielder. Layla can be good but i hate that her shield applies cryo and ctyo shield melts with pyro element. But yeah when no other choice u can put thoma but not the great choice. U can make him work but not the best
I use Thoma regularly in other teams and unfortunately he’s a lot more difficult to use if you’re not normal attacking

Am I the only one having fps drop inside fontaine's domains ? Espescially the artifact one. Well of course I dont have a high pc or anything, but at least I tried some past domain, they still relatively fine
