Community Firewood Access Project - Norman Wells, NWT

A look at the Arctic Energy Alliance's Community Firewood Access Project in the community of Norman Wells, Northwest Territories. The project included courses on safe chainsaw operation, facilitated by Arctic Response, and on running a small firewood-harvesting business. The goal of the project is to help reduce community members' energy costs by increasing access to firewood for home heating.
