Does anyone else feel like the piano in the bridge is really angry sounding. Like normally Dreamcatcher bridges with piano are light and beautiful, but those are some dark sounding chords. I love it! Also, Sera reactions to DC are the best!

I love how Dreamcatcher "kills you" with their sound and power but also " heals you" with their angelic voices parts and visuals, they really know how to move you inside.

I felt exactly how our President feels. This song just hits you like a freight train and doesn't stop. Even with the bridge, everything is ominous and gives us a sense of urgency which fits the concept and message so well.
I don't know if it only seems to me, but although it has the characteristic of the dreamcatcher songs it seems made by a different producer, in fact the mix has a different feeling, diferent balance... I mean I like it... but feel a little bit diferent... The same thing happened to me with BOCA's synthesized guitars, which I like better in this song, much more organic. It's generally the same 2 guys - Leez and Ollounder. However, on some tracks, they added Maddox to this album's production. He helped with Ateez, but only recently his name appears in DC's tracks. Although he isn't directly involved with Maison in particular, it's anyone's guess if his preference/influence has any impact indirectly. I think over the years their sound has gradually gone in the direction of the mainstream, maybe even deliberately targeting the mainstream. But I can totally relate with the change in sound. With Maison, it has somewhat of a contemporary JYP sound to it.
Feel like Dreamcatcher title tracks have all had a story, progression and resolution. Even the "to be continued" songs in the Nightmare and Dystopia series had some kind of resolve. MAISON has the story and build up then......leaves us all hanging. Sound wise, Dreamcatcher started out heavily influenced by Jrock/metal way back when but not sure about the compatibility with 7 singers and a choreo. Dreamcatcher made it work but think DCC has gotten better and better at showcasing each of the girls voices while also leave breathing room for their live singing and choreo. All the individual members have gotten better, especially Gahyeon adding rap and Handongs vocal confidence added more tools. That whole progression involves a whole lot of experimentation. Also, if more solo songs (perhaps unit songs?)🙏 are to come probably need to expand the production team.
For me previous Dreamcatcher songs had verses slowly building for energetic chorus. Maison sounds different. The most energetic part is pre-chorus (Siyeon and Gahyeon in first, Yoohyeon and Handong in second) and then chorus deflates a bit and gets less energetic. It lacks "oomph".

Hello Madam President! 😊 Dreamcatcher are touching on a very important subject here. Maison is French for "house", and they are singing about everyone's house, which is our planet. Previously they talked about online hate, now they are tackling an issue that impacts the whole planet and therefore everyone. Climate change is going to affect all of us, and it is already affecting many people. Island Nations will disappear under the ocean ("Save my home in the ocean"). Ice melts in the arctic and displaces people ("Save my home in the polar"). Forests get decimated by corporate greed and habitats get destroyed ("Save my home in the jungle") and disappearing glaciers and snow packs result in even less water for deserts ("Save my home in the desert"). People have a natural tendency to ignore issues that seem to be in the future - but climate change is here, right now. We can't wait anymore, and it is good that Dreamcatcher use their platform to promote change: "Break your habit now!" Musically I really enjoy the song. Like in BEcause, the rock/metal vibe is dialed back a bit, but it is still there and highly distorted. The more I listen to it, the more Rock I hear though. I especially like the pre-chorus, which seems to appear out of nowhere, and the chord progression in the bridge, and the epic end part. LEEZ and Ollounder have done it again, and the members are just brilliant. It's awesome!

Dreamcatcher are touching on a very important subject here. Maison is French for "house", and they are singing about everyone's house, which is our planet. Previously they talked about online hate, now they are tackling an issue that impacts the whole planet and therefore everyone. Climate change is going to affect all of us, and it is already affecting many people. Island Nations will disappear under the ocean ("Save my home in the ocean"). Ice melts in the arctic and displaces people ("Save my home in the polar"). Forests get decimated by corporate greed and habitats get destroyed ("Save my home in the jungle") and disappearing glaciers and snow packs result in even less water for deserts ("Save my home in the desert").
People have a natural tendency to ignore issues that seem to be in the future - but climate change is here, right now. We can't wait anymore, and it is good that Dreamcatcher use their platform to promote change: "Break your habit now!"
Musically I really enjoy the song. Like in BEcause, the rock/metal vibe is dialed back a bit, but it is still there and highly distorted. The more I listen to it, the more Rock I hear though. I especially like the pre-chorus, which seems to appear out of nowhere, and the chord progression in the bridge, and the epic end part. LEEZ and Ollounder have done it again, and the members are just brilliant. It's awesome!
