I actually bought two copies of it so now I can throw the other ones away put me being me in a physical media collector like yourself I will find it pretty hard to throw out the other copies LOL but this release blows that other one all of the water. So anybody else that doesn't have this do yourself a favor and definitely grab it

Thanks for the review, so glad I sold my old one and got this, I've not had a chance to watch it yet and I was a little worried going into your review. 😂 Just a note, these are not bootlegs, they are official releases based on Spanish copyright laws which differ to most of the world, it's a little like public domain, but the timeframe is drastically reduced, hence why you get this and True Lies from a few years ago. I suspect the first 'official' Barbarian release will come from Spain as I can't see Disney ever giving it to us
Great Video CHH. I have seen various versions of this on Ebay, Ecrater, Amazon. I have also noticed Walmart has the Artisan DVD. The only difference is the inserts are in English instead of Spanish.

Bought this new from eBay back in October I was expecting a bootleg Blu-ray but was surprised to find out it wasn't. Picture quality was impressive and the reversible coverart was a extra added bonus. They also gave me the original Fright Night Blu-ray! Great sequel super fun watch but can't hold a 🕯 to the original Fright Night imo
I've had this release for about a year and a half and I never thought it was a bootleg, the quality seems to better than bootleg, I just thought it was a weird rights issues for over seas deal. This a high recommend if you love this movie
I recently acquired the laserdisc of this film last month and I’ve had the dvd for awhile. I absolutely love this film and the first one. I’ve been praying that one day we get a newer release of this film, one of the most underrated sequels ever!
Honestly, while I do love Fright Night 2 and as before have said I am a diehard advocate for this movie, I do agree where they are both on par and have their own strengths and weaknesses. To me it is like watching Star Wars, you just gotta marathon them sometimes and try not to choose one part over another.
A couple of years ago this movie was available on Amazon Prime Video, and it was a hi def transfer. I think it was only available for a few months. I was really hoping when I watched it that it meant a US blu ray was on the way. Sadly, that doesn't seem to be the case.
I had gotten that version of Fright Night 2 a few weeks ago, but mine has a second disc with the first movie. There is nothing on the packaging to indicate that it included the first movie, but it seemed weird.
Okay you talk me into just getting this bluray. I've been holding out for a 4k release on either scream factory or who ever will pick it up. Didn't know for awhile why we weren't getting new ones in the past, but know now. I didn't realize the Menendez brothers were connected to this. Now with my luck there'll probably announce in a couple of months a new breakthrough 4k release and charge me $50 in a steelbook limited edition, buy now before it goes out of print, will never be release again Ad. I'm blaming you. JK LOL. Like your video, new to this channel.

Mind you, those movies also happen to be sold in black cases. I was told that they weren´t listed because they´re not official. And I did a quick search on NOCHE DE MIEDO 2 and I couldn´t find it listed in that site or official stores in Spain. Why legit stores can sell unofficial movies is beyond me. I´m talking as if a higher quality Walmart sold them. Because I also happened to search for the Hellraiser sequels on the site of the store and they don´t appear. Yet they are in physical stores. Also, that reverse cover with Italian language it´s a given. BD´s in Spain don´t come with reversable covers much less in another language. One day I´ll decide to buy the Hellraiser sequels (even though I know they´re not legit) because I want to on them in the highest quality and given the fact that we´re talking from Inferno to Hellworld that´s not going to ever happen. When I do I´ll let Christian know through Twitter.

Do you have or have you done any videos on the current Chinese and Spanish all region blu rays available for brain dead/ dead alive? I’m looking to get a copy but idk what I should go with.
I got mine on ecrater for $13 yes it's a bootleg but for the price it's worth it. it has 3 audio options 5.1, and 2 2.0 audio, trailers , comic adaptation, fangoria issue.
watched this recently i kinda enjoyed it but for me its all about the original but i have to be honest i didnt know it was connected to real life murders im pretty new to part 2 it was orite half decent : )
The blu-ray I have comes with some cool features on it. It's got the trailer, making of, and the part 2 of the You're So Cool Brewster doc, Sadly I don't think it will ever get a legit release. Also how have we not gotten a blu-ray release of Midnight Hour and Stay Tuned yet!? I mean the lader is a John Ritter film and it blows my mind that there is no blu-ray yet except a burned on demand one.
@rubenskeens6644 I have a blu-ray of it I got off of Ebay. I think it's the same one on Amazon, but not sure. I also have it on DVD never opened because of the security tape.
I enjoy fright night 2 more but I’ve never seen the film in it’s proper widescreen framing. The dvd is a mix of open matte & pan and scan so I know I haven’t seen everything properly
My Fright Night 4k steelbook set feels lonely. It wants its sister sequel in a similar 4k set. My library feels incomplete without it.

Christian mine came with reversible art and part 1 and 2. Totally worth it.
I brought part 2 from Germany as a mediabook..and also got a french steelbook with part one and 2 both amazing pictures and sound

I acquired the DVD about 3 years ago. Paid a decent price for it actually $75 for the DVD.
Christian, I ordered my copy from eBay and it came with two discs ! One is Fright Night 2 and the other is the first Fright Night !

Michael Felscher has stated on a few livestreams that the Menendez situation was just a long standing rumor but is not the reason for the hold up.

Amazon has a mod pressed (silver not purple) release of stay tuned on blu-ray

I got this one last year. The Blu Ray looks and sounds great. Have to say the move is nowhere near as good as part one, in my opinion
