You are a true hunter! On the last day you didn't care about the size you just wanted food for the table and that's what it's about! Huge respect to you
When I watch hunting videos I don’t care about rack size I just like watching well filmed videos like this one
Giant buck or not, the footage you bring is always on point. Great episode, thanks Tim!
+Caleb Struble Thanks Caleb. Always trying to make it better.
Nice job Tim... Thanks for producing one of my favorite shows of all time. It's real, its raw, and there's nothing staged... :-)
Tim, I think we all experience those hunting "ruts" and I don't mean mating season! I have had times where it was nearly impossible to drag myself to do what I wait anxiously all year to do. I can't explain why, but sometimes it feels like the weight of the world is upon you...even during the hunting season. I'm glad you fought your way thru and shared with us the experience - both the harvest and the emotions we all are subject to.
+Matt Oliver Thanks Matt
Hell yeah chucker hunting in my home state NEVADA is great🙌🏻!!!!!
Thanks again guys. Great video as usual
Great video. Love seeing the frustration and the excitement of going after a buck, even if it isn't as big as you had hoped.
+Connor Parrish Thanks man
I know it's called solo hunter, but would love to see one where the team up and one films the other , 100% the whole hunt on a big mulie . And then switch. And do it again , these two are awsome .
Another great video. If you are going to hunt alone, it seems your mind gets the best of you sometimes. Its tough to recover from if the stresses of life follow you to the mountain. You did the right thing, leave, get your head straight and go back and enjoy another day. Nice buck, better than tag soup.
+Joe Richardson Thanks Joe. There is always plenty of tag soup to eat each year.
Nice job Tim, way to fight through the mental battle and bring home the meat!
+Alaska Adventure Services Thank you.
Great job Tim, I love how you guys view success as a whole. Keep up the good work.
+Travis Leedom Thanks Travis!
Another awesome video!! Enjoy watching all of them. Thanks
+Cory Rodriguez Thank you Cory
I was so happy to see you smoke this nice buck!! Great job!
Great video Tim .
+Bradley Snyder Thanks man!
Good job!! Love watching these videos!
+Baiza21 Thank you!
Tagged out or not, I appreciate what y’all bring to the table! Great vid.
Quality work as always...Congrats!
+Chris Colwell Thanks Chris
Some great footage of those mulies!
+Wesley White Thanks man
great video!
I think that it doesn't matter the size of the horns but the effort that you put in each deer that you catch by season, congratulation the video is great.
+wilmer hernandez Thank you!
thanks for this video, sometimes I plan a day to go hunting and when the day comes I don't feel like going. this video will remind me to get up out of bed and go hunt. consider that dear a trophy because you will remember what you had to overcome to get it.
+holy roller Thank you! The best thing you can do when you don't feel like hunting is go hunting until you feel like hunting. Or stay home and work so you can realize that being on the mountain better than the office any day! As I sit here in the office answering emails and messages all day long. ha ha
Awesome video as always Tim! Way to persevere and make it happen once again! Loved it.
To add to your closing statement, are we hunting for inches, or are we hunting for the memories, the adventure, the challenge, the whole of it all?
Awsome, So Tim, where did the arrow hit. And yes any animal with archery equipment is a trophy. Great Video, find my self in a rut so to speak every year at one point or another , so this is great advice thanks for sharing.
That's freakin awesome! I hope to do what you do one day
+Devon Klostermann Thanks Devon. DO IT!
Great hunt Tim, Lived in Vegas for a year but didn't get to hunt Nevada. From Oregon hunted quite a bit in SE Oregon, have to agree about hunting Chukars, best bird on earth. Curious about the game bags you and Remi use, what are they?
what camera do you use? also what tripod?...probably a question you have answered lots but I am new to your show and solo video my Wyoming hunts and all my other hunts. thanks for your reply!
Watched it like 5 x I think it looked a little low, but just can't tell , but if it's not. It's a heart shot ! Ok back to the video .
Really enjoy your hunts and your attitude while hunting. Get that shot on film solo is some solid skill and patience. Which Canon dslr are you using? Just curious. Looks like the 70d? Thanks
Buck fever
Don't know how u guys do it!? I solo hunt with my bow and could not imagine trying to film it!
Awesome job! The camera work is very good for solo.
Born and raised Northern NV. I've never hunted this unit, although the several I have look exactly the same as this video.
Do you like the BA Fly Creek UL? I hear it's not that solid in the wind? Thanks!
+Steven Buell Love it. I've never had an issue in the high winds.
awesome video!! love the terrain of Nevada mountains. what bag and tent do you run with?
+Jason Secrist Thanks Jason. The Pack I recommend is the Kifaru Mtn Warrior. I use a light weight Big Agnes 45degree bag this time of year. The tent is the Big Agnes Slater UL2. Good luck!
What type of back pack are you using
Best hunting show out there by far. thanks Tim and Remi. Hey Tim is there any chance you could tell me the name of the track that starts @ 8:33? Iv'e look on audiojungle but cant find it. Take care buddy
I have an archery tag for Zone 141-145 in NV. I hear the deer are big but few around. Im trying Diamond Peak and Roberts mountains
How did you do in the diamonds?
Heck ya, meat is meat!
+Tanner Gray Best tasting deer I killed all season.
+SOLO HNTR Awesome deal, i ate tag soup this year.
Keep the videos Coming! Makes me want to get out and start hunting. What type of boots and pack are you using?
+Landon Favero Thanks man. These are the speed freak bozeman from Under Armour
+SOLO HUNTER Tim can you be my dad?? haha jk but your kids are going to love hunting with their dad when they get older. That's what its all about is family n friends!
Landon Favero
Thats funny
Currently live in California but thinking about moving to Nevada within the next year or so. Still confused on how the draw system works. How often are you able to draw deer tags? Seems like people can get them often but if that for crappy zones or something? Thanks
+BAbassfishin Nice! As a resident of NV there are several units a guy can draw and archery tag every year but some of the better units might take a point or two. Every unit in NV has good deer. You just have to hunt for them.
Again...The godfather reigneth.
+Benjamin Call Goodfellow!
The best, fresh meat you harvest your self.
What kind of game bags are those??!
+MrMigs11 Caribou Gear. www.biggamebags.com
excellent, that deer looks delicious and the benefits of that meat far outweigh any antlers
+steelrain202 Oh he was good! Thanks man!
+BAbassfishin tags cost a lot there I don't live there but I wanted to get a tag there but the tags are like 200$-300$
+Kaleb Breeze +BAbassfishin They are high for a non resident but as a resident of NV they are cheap as anywhere. Thanks
Tim Brother, would you please share a link that will help me locate these boots you are hunting with!?
The boots I'm wearing here were an early prototype model of the Speed Freak from Under Armour.

SOLO HNTR Thank you Tim, 😊😊
What is the rattlesnake situation at that altitude?
They stay below 7500 usually.
better yet ha ha...what is your complete camera set up, audio, tripod, camera, second angle camera, remotes, microphones?...thanks a million. shoot straight, keep ripping and remember hunt always lift often!
+Halo Hunters Drift HD works great for my hunts
+mizzak thank you! What us "drift hd"?
+Halo Hunters Thank you! On this hunt I was using the GH4 dslr for my main filing and a +GoPro Hero 4 for second angle and some time laps shots. I don't use remotes but I do you Sennheiser Wireless Mics for most of my audio. Sometimes a Sennheiser MKE 400 boom. Tripod is the Bog-Gear tripod shooting stick with a light weight Gitzo fluid head. Hope this helps.
+SOLO HNTR thanks so much!
+SOLO HNTR What about the lens for Gh4? (:
I am a 300 lbs ex marine with health problems. I have been inspired by your shows to lose 100 lbs document it and become a solo hunter. Any advise on how to become a efficient bow/crossbow hunter is greatly appreciated. I currently own a Barrett crossbow and saving for a bow.
Barnett sorry auto correct got me
+anthony mccall Thank you for your service!!! Nothing can compensate for time in the field. I've never killed anything with a crossbow but I would be cool. More time equals more opportunity. Good luck!
haha you didn't show anything that represented his size!)
