One of the most developed cities in the Philippines. It has the highest GDP per capita among cities outside NCR and has an HDI equivalent to that of Greece!!!
Yes. In fact, ‘yung mga minimum wage earners ang considered na nagstruggle economically sa Baguio. Sa Metro Manila, and other major cities, sila ‘yung may mga urban poor talaga na tinatawag by normal definition. Kahit sa residential areas, ‘yung subdivisions and compounds sa Metro Manila, normal lng na barangay sa Baguio.
Having lived in a cold climate abroad, I cannot resist the allure of Baguio. I spent early December 2023 and Holy Week in March 2024 there, and I am now preparing to celebrate New Year's Eve and January 1st, 2025, in this beautiful city. I practically retraced the route of your walking tour in the video (excluding Kayang and Shagem Streets) during my previous visits. I can't wait to once again be invigorated by Baguio's attractions. We prefer to avoid tourist hotspots and are determined to simply stroll through the streets, immersing ourselves in Baguio's hidden gems. Thanks for the video.
you cant blame tourists who want to experience cold weather. fyi, 60 percent of the daily population in baguio are tourists. nontheless, Baguio remains to be clean and enjoyable place to walk. walang wala sa ibang city na gusto mo lang sa loob nakatira dahil mainit sa labas which is not good.
I miss going to Baguio…it’s been a long time since. Thanks for posting one of the beautiful cities in the Philippines!
Thanks for posting. parang nakauwi na rin ako.
