Great video and repair. The Mercedes-Benz trucks with these cabs were the last decent trucks that they made before they started making the awful dross that is the axor. I had my pre driving lesson assessment in 1993 in a truck just like this from 1989. Unfortunately i had the driving schools donkey truck for my lessons. Passed first time, not only still driving but still with the same company!!!
Bosch ignition pump...i work with these aswell, but the 6 cylinders version mounted on IVECO engine for light passenger trains. I love these old school engines, no electronics...and with the right maintenance the will work forever....i'm going to miss them a lot when our old trains will be dismissed. By the way....the sound of that engine is absolutely awesome :) Also, just for curiosity around 26:00 when you where revving the engine, there was a clicking sound on the right side while the engine was slowing down...did you check the valves clearence too?

É engraçado, sou mecânico bombista e estou vendo que o caro colega está testando a bomba em regime de débito máximo ( quando o máximo de injeção) é exigido no motor, regulador RQ, a rotação nestes motores neste regime de leitura do débito oscila em uma faixa de 900- 1100 RPM, e o mais interessante é que não o vi utilizando o manômetro pneumático, existem manômetros no mercado, e que podemos utilizar para fazer esta leitura. As bombas do mercado brasileiro variam entre 0,7- 1,5 bar. Meus parabéns ao amigo e colega bombista. Deus Jeová te abençoe.
