Hi Jack, The last one has some nice fish in it. It is private because it is privately owned and HOA members paid big for the lots and HOA dues. My coworker lives there I can get you on. The second pond you fished has a few big catfish so try cut bait sometime but put release them they are fun to re-catch.
Awesome intel! I haven’t thought about trying for catfish… maybe that should be my next trip. And yes I wouldn’t keep any of the fish from the little ponds, definitely catch and release for another angler to enjoy and for the fish to live on!

I used to walk through the tunnel that went under Van Dorn st. And ended in the golf course across the street.
It’s Holmes Lake, they stock it yearly.
Yep, I ended at Holmes Lake. I went back on the winter and caught many more fish!

You need to go to Bowling Lake in the Arnold Heights (Air Park) area of Lincoln.
I’ve heard they stock trout in there…? Looks like a nice spot to try, maybe I’ll make my way over there one day!

yeah can't say I wouldn't like to fish them, but I'm pretty sure those two bodies of water are private.
Um thats not a pond its a lagoon for all those apartments lol
It's known as a containment POND. It's purpose is to slow down the runoff and catch sediment from the parking lot(s). So, yes, it IS a pond.

its apartment ponds right off of 40th and old cheney i think, im not sure of the names of the apts tho, in my opinion there are much better places to fish in lincoln but these 2 ponds are fun, lost a 5 pounder too.
@@cason.402has a few decent cats in it, couple 5-6lb bass and alot of pan fish.
