As a small band, we are currently fighting to get gigs, so we are working on our communication. There are so many ways to achieve this, you listed many of them, it's quite hard to stay focus, while working on our songs too... I like this band story series, may be in splitted videos to prevent too long ones. I shall do it for our band, and I would quote you and your channel for the idea of course! Protip: don't only sell wear and listening merch. Find a local brewer and make some nice stickers to put on beers you can sell along with your current merch. A French band (Abbygail) do that, and they told me they managed to buy new amps only with beers! ;)

They will definitely be shorter in the future, I just had to cover over 1.5 years of story in one vid, and it was really just to have it in the books for a more complete story :) It is definitely very very difficult to know what to focus on and how much, so many different streams to pursue or try and you dont know which ones will pay off, and choices have to be made with limited time… I’ve recently watched a bunch of music management videos and they reaffirm that engagement on social media is crucial at every level, especially tiktok… I dont like social media (except yt if that counts), and neither does anyone in the band, noone wants to spend time on it, but you hear again and again how important it is, I think Ill try to push that a bit more for the band, hopefully get a trickle of following, that might start to compound over time :p Thats an interesting story with the beer, can you please give me more detail about it, did they buy beer in bulk from a brewery and then sell it at gigs themselves?
