Just a quick little video of my father in law taking his daughters boyfriend out for his first Maverick ride. Hoping to get some better footage up before the summer is up.
Hey if you don't mind me asking you about the grill in the car what car did you get it out of I really do like the car and how you built the car great job I have a 1970modle that I have been working on for about 5 or six years now and it has a small block Chevrolet350 piar with a 350th with a 2000 stall converter in it all looking for a good gas tank to
My dad had a 1970 black Maverick nicknamed "The Black Beauty". A very efficient car and brand new for $3,200.00 (which was a lot back in 1970). Love your father-in-law's car.
20alphabet, it really seems like u never have owned an American muscle car. Nothing wrong with that its just this is music to my ears! Love that big ass cam rumble...
Wow! I had a six cylinder 1970 Maverick in 1980. This one looks a little more fixed up than the one I had. I saw someone driving a Maverick in traffic a while back and it made me do a double take. I thought "Darn! I haven't seen one of those in a long time." Do any of you remember the four-door Mavericks? I wonder how many of those are left.
Neighbor has beautiful candy apple pearl '69&pretty tight lipped about the power plant. I just know it's tubbed out pretty close to this&one Buddy said he's eaten Suzuki 1000's like tic tacs at the strip?
It doesn't seem to idle very smooth. Maybe a tune-up would help? Also, the back tires look like they have much more air than the fronts. You might want to look into those things.
Thanks sound beautiful some one knew what they were doing motor i mean thanks i wish every car i own sound like that with a 6 speed then i also wish i owned a bel jet ranger an an FA 18
If it were yours, I’m sure you would. I’m sure it would look great! Everyone has different reasons and preferences for the cars they build. I say, do what blows your hair back! 🤙🏼✌🏼
Awesome MAV!! you should take it to the May Cruisin' Ocean City Md. Car Show. Would love to see and hear it going down the street there! Wish mine was tubbed and sounded like that! What cubic inch?

Is that a tube chassis under there? I would think it has to be launching it like that. In time the doors wouldn't open or close from all that torque.
Epic Maverick!
Si
This actual car made me buy one here in Australia.
Haha, congrats! Hope you enjoy yours as much as my father in law did. ✌🏼
