He is, he’s acknowledging what has been happening. I often ask God if there will be justice. I’m in Australia and didn’t take the jab. I see what’s happening in this world and it’s really run by evil people. God knows and sees everything.

There is nothing right winged about this. This is not a political song. This is partly about entitlement groups that refuse to share equablly our resources. It goes deeper though. It is a nation that is so arrogant . We have had human rights problems since the beginning of this nation. I certainly don't want fascism, but we have had from the beginning human rights violations. EVery human being has worth. The more we care about each other , the bettter we will do . But God does not want anyone worshipping other gods. That is the toughest commandment of all. Humility is a very important trait as is kindness. Authentic honesty is another positive additon to our population. The light really shines in Oliver because we live in such a dark environment, when he is authentic, honest, kind, and humble. Sadly, that is unusual these days. He gives the glory to God.

I so love to hear the truth; In 1969 , I don't recall being so inundated with lies, but we might have been. There was certainly a lot of disunity at that time. But the hours spent on computers and phones was not a thing, so the lies were not spread so effectively. The loneliness, I am sure was an issue because the race riots and the assasinations was heartbreaking so there was lots of turbulence. It is the closest thing I can remember to this time. But even at the Watergate hearings, everyone treated others with respect. That was different. There also did not seem to be so many unhinged politicians. But the divide betwwen the very rich and the poor was still very great. I have always dreamed of a commnuity to cooperate and solve problems. That likely will never happen. That is heaven. But at age 76, my country never felt like such a foreign country. We had made strides in diversity and inclusion in some areas, and I so welcomed that in 1990's. But now the unfairness of the divide econmically is really very difficult to accept. The rhetoric to divide our nation is so hard to acept. The cruelty I see, is so hard to accept.

I’m a young black man and it warmed my heart not only to see him reading the Bible before his performance but also to see many people who are rap & hip hop fans posting about his music and message. Working class people from all walks of life connect to his message. It’s a revolution going on in this country.
