I did not marry a woman from a farm, but she has the same work ethic. Came from a family of 12 and mom and dad were very frugal . Mom made cloths for the children and they grew up with no TV. Every last child are hard working in their profession and as mothers and fathers. Yes, I am very blessed. It only took me 4 months dating to put a ring on her finger. 37 years later she is still hard working and a great wife and mother.

Yes for sure, as my Missouri roots on fathers side, I was born in Mexico, MO. I Loved visiting my kinfolk that lived on the family farm in Bellflower, MO. Driving the tractor, milking milk cows into the big bucket. My aunt Helen would go out in the yard and catch 2 or 3 chickens, and that’s what we had for dinner that night. Good old fashion country fried chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy with biscuits and gravy w/ slaw😊. Mmmm good.

Absolutely. I was raised on a big farm in South Alabama. I didn't have any sisters, but my neighbor had two daughters I went to school with. And those two gals could keep up with any man. Period.
As a matter of fact, I dated and married one. She was my absolute soul mate.
She worked our farm as hard as I did. She could cook, kept a clean house, raised two wonderful children. She loved to fish, hunt. She cleaned her own fish we brought in, which was usually more than I caught. Could skin out a deer in no time. Then, when we went to bed, she would turn on her girly girl switch and love me like no other could ever do.❤
I lost her to cancer after shy of our 35th wedding anniversary. 😢

I brought my daughter up the same way. I have a garage door business and she helped me all thru high school and college. She's 33 now and went out Saturday and took my place due to a surgery I had recently and along with my brother installed a 11ft w x 12 ft h garage door and opener. All I did was supervise.

Yes for sure, as my Missouri roots on fathers side, I was born in Mexico, MO. I Loved visiting my kinfolk that lived on the family farm in Bellflower, MO. Driving the tractor, milking milk cows into the big bucket. My aunt Helen would go out in the yard and catch 2 or 3 chickens, and that’s what we had for dinner that night. Good old fashion country fried chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy with biscuits and gravy w/ slaw😊. Mmmm good.
They don’t make them like that very often anymore, it’s the farm, a real connection to the earth, simple pleasures, and hardships.
But for some, it can build a strength of character, of course, it doesn’t hurt to be absolutely Beautiful too!😮
