Cranial nerves ganglia is anatomicaly within the CNS but functionally not I think basal ganglia is not the answer as it's supposed to be basal neuron not ganglia since it's part of CNS

Quick question why does the afferent one has ganglion but not the efferent (somatic)? We also need our senses to be quick
