7.- Cockroach King
8.- The Endless Knot
Encore:
9.- Crystallised (with Mike Portnoy at the end of the song)
Dream Theater is my favorite band of all time but god damn, I've been listening to Haken non stop. Bout time we have another amazing prog metal band!
soen
arcane
vola
B_Ontic Leprous
Rishloo
And a few more...
Either way, Haken is still amazing
MAN!!!! It happens to me the same. It's an amazing band!!
same happened to me. DT is still my fav. band but Haken is just as next level as them
Between the Buried and Me?
Ross dancing at the instrumental parts and bringing his cool vibe on stage really makes the band look so much better. Ross is seriously the best prog singer these days. I fuckin love this band!
"No way they'd play this song live, there's so much going on...!" - my thought after hearing the studio track in the car. Crazy!!
My thoughts exactly.
I wasn't even there, I'm sitting in my room watching this on youtube and I still flipped out at the ending... what an awesome song and band
Too bad that awesome bands like Haken are not soo massive in place like here in South America, I would love to see this guys live, we are stuck with Maluma and all that shit, PLEASE COME TO SOUTH AMERICA
these guys are really good live! they deserve to make it huge, and i think they are on their way! they are evidently schooled musos
Runtime of the video a coincidence? :)
Ben Lacy I don't get it
2112 rush
An Epic prog song reference in an Epic prog song video?? I applaud you Sir
It's not 2112, it's 2113
prob not
The ending actually brought tears to my eyes! Ha! Magical. :D Proud of you guys!
OK, now I see why Mike left Dream Theater. This was worth it!
U.V. S. Not
@@einarabelc5 The band's decision to name the first album post Portnoy Dream Theater makes his leaving worth it. An attempted slap in the face when not only was the name thought of by Portnoy's father, but Portnoy was the Theater to Kevin Moores Dream.
Dream Theater wasn’t the first post Portnoy album “A Dramatic Turn of Events” was.
what an insane vocal performance by ross. god, that was some of the best live singing i have seen from him in any live setting
I saw them at ROSfest in 2015. This song live was such an orgasmic experience. I also heard Visions as well :P
I LOVE YOU. The best song of this decade by far!
They're playing everything so relaxed!
thank you very much for this uploading
This song is beyond majestic!
17:50 Omg, Ross actually held people's hands :D
But they let it go
amazing performance by mike portnoy.
Wow, what a performance. I would have absolutely lost my shit if I were there. Perfect execution.
5:52 BEST UNISON!!! VERY GOOD!!!
This song is a lot more impressive live. I didn't appreciate how difficult the vocals were until I actually saw them doing it.
Fucking Ross Jennings!!! An awesome performance!!!
The video is 21:12 long. THIS IS PROG HERITAGE!
5:52 This moment is so incredible
The lack of more dynamic lights and the good old smoke machine annoys me. Brilliant song!
TY
Just happy to see Portnoy properly prime the gong first.
Damn.... that Portnoy gong solo at the end was EPIC. I need to go change my underwear.
I always thought the key-tar was dumb AF. Then I saw Diego play it. Dang.
The mike cameo!
how old are band it always feel.I don't know everything but I like music and I can never.Perhaps You like not reach .I think tell me.
gibbsies I was being satirical of the original comment by spamming predictive text, because the guy who did the first comment is an illiterate son of a Bitch.
true
Luisillo el rey palomo xd
Best part of the song Portnoy attacks the gONg!!!!
They really need to work on their sound live.
Have you actually been to a show, or are you basing it off this (or other) video(s)?
The concert I saw them at was one of the best-sounding concerts I've been to. I liked that it was actually audible and not just "so-loud-you-can't-distinguish-individual-instruments"
Haken needs a choir to their live perfomances.Songs like Crystallised, Visions, Atlas Stone and all "Affinity" are affected :(
Have you ever actually seen them? Their live show in Boston on this tour was one of the best shows I've ever been seen, and I've seen A LOT.
@Cotramjoxxx that doesn't make any sense - they don't use choirs on the record, why would that be something that is needed live?
Just to be clear, Mike Portnoy is not playing anything here, just shows up at the end ! Spoiler alert !
what do you mean he plays the gong
I love this band but the singer often sings out of tune. It's ropey on the albums too in parts. They have enough going for them that I can allow it, but it's kind of a shame that such a band is let down by the singer.
Good instrumentals. Just not so hot about the vocals. No range, not much expression, flat.
