I have a similar idea, with the two balls scoring, but it’s just a single catapult. This makes it possible to leave one motor out for other functions. Im making it right now

i dont see what advantages this has over two ball projection
you can pass one ball and than shoot the other. This makes it so that if you get paired up a swish, you can optimize
