You’re a genius! I’m so glad I ran into this. I was going old school/authentic. I was so overwhelmed! Thanks for simplifying this piñata 🪅 process. You rock superstar ⭐️
Tip: instead of 4 way harness on the outside, put your 4 way rope after 2 layers of mache, then add 2 more layers on top of rope to glue and conceal it. All you have is the loop showing at the top to hang 😍
? How should I sell my piñatas by size or how long i takes decorating.. x min wage per hour…or what I spend in supplies x min wage per hour I hope I make since or do you know of a video that shows me how to start a business .. please n thank you
oh does it have to be one color. Looks like I just wrapped the pink on each cone and didn't follow your example. I jumped ahead. 😂 I guess I'll make it three colors?🙃 your piñata turned out really beautifully!
What's your point? Pinatas are American, North American. Mexico is part of North America. There are different ways to make a pinata. Hers is a fast version of making a pinata. To make a stronger pinata, takes longer and uses more flour and glue. Some people make things in ways that make more sense than others, but has little to do with what they are, as opposed to experience making things.
When you make the opening for the candy, it will pop, and untick from sides of piñata. It can stay inside for when you break it or shake it out prior to filling
If it’s newspaper, it should be enough, you want it to be breakable (usually by kids). However, if you want to do more definitely you can. I recommend making sure each layer is entirely dry before you add another. This means it will take s couple more days or drying time.
Traditionally in Guatemala, many people don’t own wisks and use just their hands. I agree, way longer to not use a wisk which is why I prefer to use one.

Beautiful
Real lesson of the video; never ask an American how to make a pinata.

And…. Piñatas take a lot longer to make than you imagine.
What happens to the balloon once you finished making the piñata
You just have to pop it, and it can easily be removed

Pop the balloon before you start the process
Trying this ... on ny second layer of paper mache... only 2 layers?? I feel like thats not enough
