Oh, this was definitely a fun trip. I can see where I would want to take that train all the way into Santa Cruz to the boardwalk? Next time I still would like to stay where we did in the mountains though again. We got lucky with the weather. Thank you again for watching and thank you again for your beautiful comments. Stay strong and healthy. Bye-bye.

Yes, you could be right. I wasn’t paying attention to the guy telling us the story. The story of my life not paying attention. But it was quite an adventure and I’m glad we made it back. At one point I didn’t know if we would have to walk? Thank you for your nice comments and thank you for watching. Stay strong, strong and healthy. Bye-bye.

This is great news. I’m glad you enjoyed it. It was really quite to see to see that train go through the big trees. Next time I would like to take the train all the way into Santa Cruz? Thank you for watching and thank you for your nice comments. Stay strong and healthy. Bye-bye.

Oh, you are very welcome. I don’t know if this video was a little too long, but it was quite an adventure. I never know how much to put in or how much to take out. Anyway, thank you for watching and thanks for the comment. Stay strong and healthy. Bye-bye.

So the part where the locomotive stopped a few times is called a switch back. It makes it easier to ascend/descend a lot of elevation in not a lot of space. There used to be a trestle loop that took care of that elevation change, and you can see it in the video. It caught fire over a decade ago and the state wouldn’t allow them to fix it.

This is great information. Thank you so much for sharing that. I think a lot of people were confused on the train so maybe they should’ve said something. Maybe they like to leave everybody in suspense.? But I do appreciate that information. I told my wife and she feels better about going on her next trip. Thank you for watching and thank you for your nice comments. Stay strong and healthy. Bye bye-bye.

@@JoyCool1 No problem. And fun fact about Tuolumne, She is the oldest known Heisler type geared steam locomotive currently in operation. And even then, she's only used on an irregular basis. You got really lucky getting her to pull your train. I've gone up there for years and she's never been on the head end of my trains.

Now I feel even better about my trip! Thank you again for that information and thank you for letting me know that I got a special pull as you call it.

Yeah, those goats will eat anything. I’m very surprised that more people don’t use them. But I’m sure they cost a lot of money too. Nobody works cheap anymore. Thank you for watching. And thank you for your comments. Stay strong and healthy. Bye-bye.
