  • In this video I finalize body panel gaps and remove oil canning on fender. This is the 14th video of a series as I restore this 1969 Boss 302 back to its original condition.

Another great video, Gregg! Forgive me if I missed this, but I have a question regarding the closing of the gaps on the door. Did you weld filler wire or merely use the wire from your MIG welder?

Thanks, I tack a piece of TIG wire every couple inches then go back and weld it completely. Afterward I grind it down to get an even gap.

Great video on a trouble spot for 69 70 fenders. I think its cause by sitting on the fender or leaning on top with elbows or maybe a fat belly 😁
