I used to drink nothing but Guinness cans but I decided to give Beamish cans a try after this. I'm never going back to Guinness. Beamish is much better. There's such a lovely coffee like aftertaste from Beamish, and the creamy head stays on the pint even if you take your time drinking it. I'll have to wait until the pubs reopen to try them both on draught but as it stands I doubt I'll ever buy cans of Guinness again.

Beamish is lovely on draft if you can find a place that pucks out a fair bit of it. Apparently made from all natural ingredients so better for the hangovers. Murphy's is also savage sweeter than the other two. Keep up the good work men
I was in Ireland recently and I find how good it tastes depends on where you buy it. Like Guinness you can get a good pint and a bad pint, but when I found a pub serving nice Beamish I made it my drink of choice. Loved it!!
Would love to see ye do a comparison where ye have all three on hand. Proper in depth and the length of the test will also allow us to see how time effects each stout. Up cork! Up the Creamy Beamies! 💪
Growing up in Cork in the 90s Beamish was always the favorite for old fellas. Their advertising had an old 20p coin on it saying the only difference was the cheaper price. Murphys is still my favorite.

Used to drink Beamish a lot when I was a student coz it was cheaper. It's slightly sweeter if that makes sense but a damn fine pint. Murphys is only 3rd choice
Used to see Beamish and Murphys on draught in Wales in the 80s an 90s never see either now. Great pints of it down in Cork on par with Guiness in my opinion.

Unfortunately you won't be seeing it on draft for the forseeable future, as Heineken have stopped exporting it to the UK. Murphy's is still imported however, if you like that.

According to him Beamish in the can is better than Guinness in the can, but in the blind taste test he chose the can as being better than the pint. uh oooh ;)
I've drank Guinness for years and to be honest up to a few years ago I'd say nothing out there could come close to it. But I've experienced many stouts porters now and there is better stuff out there. Beamish I have drank from widget can and to be honest it far better than draught Guinness in a can..

So the can of beamish is better than the can of Guinness and you cant tell the difference between a can of Guinness and a pint. So what your saying is that beamish is better

Went to Cork a few weeks ago and the Beamish was amazing
Beamish is also very popular in Limerick. All the pubs you hit in the Limerick episode have excellent Beamish too, especially Breens.
When the pubs open up again, if your planning to come to Cork, hit me up for a few decent recommendations for a mighty pint of beamish!
Beamish spots?

When it’s in the can department it is better than Guinness.
