- Our grain storage system has served us well, but it's time to upgrade! We have some grain bins going away, some new ones going up, a faster leg, a faster dump, and a bigger dryer being built. Last fall pushed us to finally pull the trigger on a new storage system since we had a big crop, and every bushel we put in storage needed drying. We're just in the beginning phase of this project, but this big grain storage system upgrade is going to be documented here for sure!

Sounds great. Big investment but it's very long term benefit. Labor saving too which seems like a bigger issue every year.

Thanks, John! Just emptied the last of the four bins coming down yesterday. Electrician needs to come now and pull back wires then we can starting pulling them down.

Are you installing an overhead bin to fill trucks? Even if not sounds like a great project for the farm. Hope you share the progress on your channel.
Not this time anyway but will leave it so we can do that maybe later. With two kinds of corn, dent and waxy, I wouldn't want both in one overhead. Nobody is going to want to go up there and clean for purity.
Is your new top dry going to be auto flow
The old one is and the new one will be as well.
