I think making the nature sound effects part of the music itself it is a pretty genius way of making the stages feel way more busy and full of life, i remember when i played this game as a kid being constantly on edge thinking a dinosaur might jumpscare me at any time, lol. Pretty tense ost.

Sammy was doing ambient soundscapes before it was cool 😎

Wonderfully spoopy and a great introduction to Sam Powell. I hope you do more of this stuff once you run out of Furniss -(not bloody likely lmao)-

Classic trashy GEMS, but it adds a certain charm... Thanks for uploading this on model 1

A lot of people say "GEMS sucks" and "SMPS good" but if one thing is true is that GEMS was capable of playing samples with quite decent or even amazing quality if you had ROM memory and all that with pure Z80 and at the same time controlling FM and PSG in the same audio co-processor, which fulfilled what Sega Japan designed in the MD hardware, instead almost all Japanese games that use SMPS have poor PCM audio quality, only Treasure modified it to have cleaner samples, from then on the other Japanese developers, even SEGA Japan, didn't care about that detail and hence the bad reputation of sample playback on MD.
