Why Initiatives can be marked as complete, but not Key Results

Initiatives are outputs, which is why you can mark them as complete. Key Results, on the other hand, can't be marked as complete in the same way. This is because Key Results are outcomes and not outputs. Because of this, many Key Results are not linear: you can achieve your Key Result one week but not the next.
Note: If you can complete your Key Result, consider if your Key Result is actually an Initiative.
