Like many other fans of Tsume, I was rather sadden to hear NO music for his death scene so I put one song with another :D, and I though it fitted rather well please enjoy,
I remember binging this in one sitting .... man those last few episodes were brutal and I cried so hard :/ Yes they have a somewhat happy ending because they live and see each other again but they don't recognize each other... man I wish that they ended up together as a pack in the paradise :/
Even after all these years always thought “ Why didn’t Tsume get death like the others?” Can I watch the series again I realize that he’s sitting position made it look like he was just “resting” and not loosing his tough guy act to very end. Of course his death wouldn’t look as mangled and defeated as the others, he look as strong as he could in the situation until he eventually bled out.
This was so great! My two first loves! DragonHeart and Wolf's Rain, these are the kinda things that raised me. Not my parents or teachers, it was fantasy films and cartoons and retro anime

This is the perfect fit! I love Dragon Heart and Wolfs Rain. Tsume was so well written, its not often the rough and rugged characters can show such tangible affection through thier aggressive behavior. This whole series will always be a masterpiece
Remembering 13 year old me under the covers at 2 in the morning crying and pushing through those last few episodes while my brother was asleep in the same room without a care in the world. I wouldn’t feels such a pain again until I East he’s MSG Iron-Blooded Orphans at the age of 15 and again at the age of 16 or 17.
I cried when tsume died and the pack and I balled my eyes out when kiba died I rewatch it once a yr as I own the dvd boxer and when it get to near the end I make sure I have box of tissues for all there deaths .
I understand what your saying, I can't help but wonder the same thing. The only thing I can think of is that everything just took its toll. Perhaps with the planet almost completely dead they had lost their inner strength. And then again, they had never fought whatever creature Darcia turned into, I won't even call that a wolf. Who knows what it was really capable of, even with one hit. It took so much just to bring it down...as for Toboe, perhaps he got shot right in the heart...

Never watch when Tsume dies after watching the death of Itachi you will cry more. This episode and the death of Ace are the only ones that I cried at. It's just, I could relate to him, he was the one noble I really thought had potential to not go down that path. But he just couldn't let go of Hamona. Once I saw him turn into that wolf, boy did my stomach sink. I knew he was far too gone. Then when I saw what he did to Hige, then to Tsume, then to Cheza, then to Kiba, jesus christ. I hate him. Period.

(I know this is a old comment but had to reply) it is sad that they never did a second season but it's because this is all the manga had, this was the full story written, it be cool if they did a spin off but most likely won't happen because of how old it is but still always good to come back to
I might be wrong but based on the wound on his left leg my opinion is that along with having his side ripped open his femoral artery was lacerated. The superficial femoral runs top side and it's deep and that wound was deeeeeep so in theory y'a Hige should've just bled out dude to basically having his throat slit and likely having his jugs cut. Toboe definitely used his last everything to die with pops cuz he loved humans. Blue I forgot how she goes but either way the emotional damage from this series was top notch 🙌🏼
What I don't understand is how they died so easily.I mean,out of all the show,they had survived a bullet in the chest (Kiba),a beating from an entire pack(Kiba again -I'm getting to the others),getting attacked by thousands of giant,flesh-eating bugs,rays from ray guns + their explosions+ they got hit more than once,a blade through the shoulder(Hige),etc,&yet 10-30 seconds with Darcia &they're dead or dying.WTF?Granted,Hige was hutt,but you'd still think they'd last a little longer than that..

@flamewolfangel I was just teasing, didn't meant for her to take it all that personal. It's a nice clip, I have the soundtrack. Dragonheart, great soundtrack, by Randy Edelman if I am not mistaken. And I don't think that anything should ever be dubbed. It's better to use subtitles, otherwise it won't sound right.
Onne suggestion- the music is too loud. You cant hear the dialogue at all, seems like the charactwrs are mumbling something to themselves. But a good choice of tune!

I love this show but Tsume is so much stronger and better at fighting then all of them not to mention his a Grey Wolf and the biggest besides Darcia, sad they made him so weak here..

I was so irritated by this ending lol. Everyone got oneshotted except for Kiba since he is the protagonist. My main problem with him is that he is extremely boring compared to anyone around him.

I honestly wish he had a bigger part in the fight. He was one of the better fighters and was hardly in the fight.
