When you do the comparison with the "neon green" version, please show and comment on the bezel action. How many clicks? How do they feel? It's an important aspect of a 3-time-zone GMT. Thanks!
Zodiac has really done an incredible job with this case design. It's so wearable for pretty much anyone. I got mine because I wanted a Pepsi experience, something fun. I really think Zodiac has achieved something great here. This isn't a Rolex GMT wanna be. This watch stands on it's own because of the success of the Seawolf line even if the original may have been perceived at the time as a Rolex alternative or poor mans whatever. Kudos to Zodiac and kudos to Fossil for picking them up and going for it.
Great review, Bruce, thank you. Watch looks really nice! Agree, metal movement holder would be nice, but would rather have a well finished movement, and this one looks pretty good. You're right, though: a metal movement holder and see thru back, bump up the price a lttle if you have to, and you have a very intriguing watch indeed.
I'm not sure either of your negatives are an issue for me. A plastic spacer is fine and seems like it would function well as some form of impact resistance. And lumed bezels are rather overrated I think, especially if you can't get the lume to match in color and longevity to the hands and indicies
Loved your channel for years, but what was that constant drone noise during this? Might just be me, but I found it distracting. Not hating, maybe I just noticed it more on this video. 🤷🏼♂️
I just don’t care if it’s got a plastic spacer or not - especially when you can’t see it through the caseback. Mido offers a “true gmt” movement on the Ocean Star GMT models - not sure if their are others.
This watch would go well with: 1) A 1978 Chrysler Córdoba with Rich Corinthian Leather 2) Neon Pink Zebra Print Zubaz Workout Pants 3) Axe Body Spray 4) Bruno Magli Shoes 5) The Sizzler 6) A Fine Bottle of Night Train 7) Anything 100% Polyester 8) A Limp Bizkit Tatoo 9 ) An Ed Hardy Trucker Hat 10) A Pack Of Pall Malls 11) Tiger Blood 12) Frosted Tips 13) Knock Off Gianni Versace Faux Gold Belt Buckle 14) All Of The Above
Great video Bruce. You’re one of the most underrated channel on UA-cam. The production quality of your videos are insane. I’ve loved the videos since getting into watches this year. I’m considering buying my first entry level luxury watch a Tag Heuer Aquaracer (black) for my 25th birthday and was wondering if you still recommend it as a first entry luxury level diver watch. Keeps up the great vids 🏴
For your first move in the mechanical watchdom, consider the Sinn 556. With 200 m depth rating, this should match your underwater expectations and you get a ton of value with this German brand using Swiss movements.
Hey Devin, I appreciate that thank you. Yes I definitely recommend it! Also the Oris Aquis and Longines Hydroconquest. The Aquis is my favorite but the Tag is really strong
Hi 👋 thanks for the response Bruce. I was stuck between the Oris and TAG for awhile but the Aquaracer won me over with TAG having a more widely known brand. Keep up the great vids can’t wait to continue watching 🏴 😃
And with just two critiques this watch is dead to me. Interesting how critical I have become with watches. Honestly I’m very elated you took this review to the next level and revealed the 2K watch with a plastic shroud encasing the movement. This is one element I have held back on TAG at some price point. Thanks for the video 🎰
I like it - good size, price and I like the colour scheme - agree some of them are pretty obnoxious, but that probably because I'm over 50 👴🏻🤣 Cheers Mate 👍🏻👍🏻
I don’t know if it is the Zodiac movie :), the weird „Seawolf“ letters on the dial or the fact that the brand is very much unpresent that doesn’t make me wanna buy this watch.
Beautiful Watch Bruce...thanks for sharing it. That Bracelet tho 😍
I love the Super Sea Wolves, especially the Watermelon.
Think it’s a nice watch .i like the bold use of colour that zodiac favour it’s all very cool ..
Another excellent review Bruce. Congratulations on the beautiful Sea Wolf GMT. Wear it in good health.
nice looking watch, nice looking movement

You bet, I mentioned in the unboxing but forgot for the review. Its 24 click, bi directional, very pleasant and solid action

Mido got a true gmt with the Ocean Star GMT in that price range.
That watch is crazy, honestly i would take it up to black bay 58 or omega seamaster
Agreed! I would love to see a third party movement provider (selitta, ETA, Stp, etc) step up and provide a true gmt movement at a competitive price.

nice looking piece
Don’t forget the stretch link on the clasp
Seems like a pretty good call for this price point.
Agree

That hulk has to make an appearance in every video :) lol Love the Zodiac
I love the stp movements I think they are slept on. Would love to see a zodiac olympos review
looks great!

Lol wrong your thinking of Invicta
@@BruceWilliams Happy Independence Day!. Just some fun. God bless you and yours.

I really enjoy my Crystal Pepsi, it's a Awesome summer watch

I can’t do PCL’s.
The plastic is a none issue for everyone...
It is a deal breaker.
Yeah I don't think it's an issue either. Just a minor gripe
Don't buy a Mercedes, or Ferrari or Corvette then, they will all be deal breakers...
@@BruceWilliams When I see a plastic ring in a movement, I see disinterest, laziness, abandonment, ...
Love the colors on the Worn and Wound Super Seawolf, but the Pepsi colors here look cheap.
I don't see it. I love a good Pepsi
wow....very impressive intro!
Thanks!

lol I can understand that. I am in my mid thirties and can get annoyed by silly things
I was totally digging until that plastic ring, they totally went tag heuer..

They left a fossil design trait in this one. Plastic. Ouch.
It's great at the $1000 price point. Not $1700
Just purchased one used for $1200, feel that was worth it
Just me getting de ja vu?
Rolex is boring now!
That movement looks like a cheap Chinese fake with that plastic ring.
