Actually... on a technicality, the scene where he says "I love you above all others." was filmed but edited out. However, on HBO's website, you can find JPGs of Godric on the rooftop with his hand on Eric's shoulder, and they have that quote. I'm not sure where to find the original deleted scene, but it WAS part of the scripted rooftop scene.

HBO doesn't care about Copyright infringement towards True Blood (to an extent, meaning; NO full episodes), they actually promote it. they mentioned something about it right when Season 2 started last year. anyways, nice vid.
He does say it in the show, but in the books, Godric (or Godfrey as he goes by in the books) is NOT Eric's maker and has no personal relationship to Eric at all. Eric's maker isn't introduced until several books after Godric/Godfrey's storyline in "Living Dead In Dallas" (book 2), and he's a Roman JERK named Appius who Eric hates.
@KAZ2Y5Winchest I think its supposed to be Sweedish because I understand it clearly o.o.. and I can't speak german at all.. allthough most of Scandinavia's lnaguages are simuler to eachother and German but also its a great vid ._. Its really sad...

Althought i have a question, i just finished watching the show and i began reading Eric/godric fanfiction and other fanart, and a sentence, a beautiful sentence always come '"I love you above all others." from godric to eric and i can't remember or find a video in which godric really says it so i'm wondering, did he REALLY say it or is it something fans made up?
