Your content is hard to beat. One of the big reasons I decided to go with a 2020 Rebel over the 801A Raptor. Loved the intro. Easily my favorite youtube channel right now.
Not sure if you're in contact with the Swarfworks owner still, but I reached out via their web form twice over the last week with a few questions. I want to order the full kit. For the install on your Ram Rebel was it as shown in the Swarfworks video or did you require any modifications to get it to fit correctly in the lower grill area?
I picked up a 2020 Rebel with the EcoDiesel literally two weeks ago. I’ve been searching high and wide for a hidden winch mount that keeps the stock lower grill look like the power wagon and you’ve answered my prayers! This is amazing. I really like the OTG concept Mopar did but I think I love your integrated lighting and winch better. But what about some LP9 lights on the bumper similar to the OTG with that mount. Hmmm. Decisions...decisions...
Great vids, I have 2020 Rebel with Multifunction Tailgate (MFT) and love it. Wish I had the cash flow to do the same type of upgrades. Once again thanks for the great videos.
Last night I took a look behind my bumper on the 2020 EcoDiesel. I’ve got an Intercooler back there behind the bumper brackets and that lower mesh trim in the bumper has the active grill shutters in it as well. I assume your 2019 didn’t have either of those? Think your guy over at SW would design a solution?
Another awesome video! When Ram sent us the 2019 Rebel to demo we really loved the truck. We've been considering trading in the Jeep for another truck. This has me rethinking the Rebel again. Especially since we could add a few things to it!
This mount was designed to fit the Warn Zeon platinum which uses a common bolt pattern and is a big winch. Since it can accommodate such a big winch you’ll be able to fit other winches in place if you don’t want a warn, i.e. Superwinch, Come Up, Smitty etc. The only problem using other winches would be that they don’t use a remote clutch. Warn is the only company making a solid winch that uses a remote clutch so you don’t have to fuss with crawling under the bumper if you need to enter free spool mode.
Hey I've been debating between a Rebel and a Raptor (I know not super comparable) but you've had both, and I wondered what your thoughts were on both so far?
Sigh 😔 I’ve been asked this question a lot and I’m contemplating doing a shootout between the two because it’s the Raptor that lacks in comparison to the Rebel. Most people don’t understand that the raptor has a horrible suspension from the factory. It’s using a 2” block under a low count leaf pack which creates a massive amount t of wheel hop. Even with the live valve shocks the Raptor still kicks sideways on a washboard road at low speeds. The Rebel doesn’t have this issue because it’s using coils in the rear. If you look at the spy shots of the 2022 Raptor you’ll see they did away with the leaf over axle design because Ford knows it’s horrible but the truck sells so they opted for profit on the gen 2 instead of making it handle great offroad. The raptor also uses an ecoboost which is plagued with lots of turbo issues not to mention the dreaded cam phaser problem that you can google and find out it’s given quite a few folks some big headaches. The Rebel and the Raptor has similar tech. You do lose a couple features on the Rebel that the raptor has but would you want a couple tech features or a truck that can handle better and stay running? A fully optioned Raptor without the obnoxious graphics cost 70k vs a fully optioned Rebel that cost 60k. But with a Rebel you can get up to 10k in rebates at the dealer whereas a ford dealer will try to charge you 10k over sticker for the raptor just cause. So take that 10-20k savings and supercharge the hemi, drop in a mid travel kit and you’ve got a machine that most trucks can come close to touching. Or you could just spend $1500 on a Falcon kit and have a truck that easily handles better than any stock raptor. For reference, here’s what I had to spend “just to reduce wheel hop” on the raptor Leaf springs $1500 Shocks $6500 Bump stop kit $1700 That was just to reduce the wheel hop to a tolerable amount. Still didn’t eliminate completely because the shocks have to be properly tuned. That took another 1k after spending time with the shock tuner. Get you a Ram and you’ll be happier. Unless looks are more important than function.
@@KidRichmond you're the man!! I've been looking for an answer like this! I appreciate it! Keep up the great work with your videos and your photography!
Just subscribed and love the content! However, it has been months, we need to see more of your mods in the Rebel! I just got a 2020 and am putting a Corsa exhaust on’r this weekend. Might have to install the winch! Looking at Falcon and Carli for the leveling suspension.
Best intro in the history of UA-cam ever! 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣

Thank you thank you. And you made a wise choice going with the Rebel over Raptor. That leaf over axle with a 2” block provides a horrible ride.
How do u only have such few subscribers! Awesome quality videos! So much better then most if not all videos I watch. Keep up the amazing work
I ask myself that often in regards to my Instagram account. I keep thinking people must not like higher quality content

I think LP9 lights are awesome but the. It changes the sleek look.

That’s always my hesitation when buying a new truck, “can I buy mods for it tomorrow “.
Seems like this favors warn. What other options do i have to choose from that would work with this design?

Would this fit in a 2020 rebel ecodiesel?
Since the mounting plate attaches to the front of the frame horns, does it push the bumpers position forward by 1/4"?
Leif Clarke great observation. Yes it does push the bumper forward by 1/4” but such a negligible amount that you don’t notice a difference.
Interested in what you’ve been up to with the rebel since this video, more videos coming to the channel?
More videos coming with new vehicles. Things got severely delayed due to covid.
I'm a simple guy, i see a Kid Richmond video, i click.
That just made my day

What are the wheels specs on the zephyr? Whats the offset and tires?
Fuel Zephyr 18x9 +1 offset
Haha great video! You might need higher weight coil springs
Great video. Is the light bar just above the winch custom or did you buy it?
Completely custom integrated into the bumper. Ultimate Ram Bumper Mod ua-cam.com/video/9YrfopGzMFk/v-deo.html
@@KidRichmond Thanks for the link 👍
What Fuel wheels those are. Are the tires the factory ones? Any lift kit on your rig?
They’re the Zephyr wheels with factory Duratracs. Truck has been leveled via adjusting the perch on the Falcon struts
What's that website??
