Everyone who is not ready when the Lord appears, and those who are left behind, will regret missing the greatest thing that will ever happen ever,.nothing will ever happen like it again, and the Lord will shut the door, and we will leave with Him, the church will be gone, and the door will be shut, Be ready for when the Lord Appears, you won't regret it,.
Irenaeus (120-202 AD) was a pre-tribulationist, meaning he believed that the Rapture of the Church would occur before the tribulation. In his work “Against Heresies”, Book 5, Irenaeus referred to Enoch’s translation and Elijah’s being “caught up” as previews of the Rapture. He wrote that Enoch was translated in the same body in which he pleased God, anticipating the translation of the just, and Elijah was caught up in prophecy, exhibiting the assumption of those who are spiritual, and demonstrating that nothing stood in the way of their body being translated and caught up. Irenaeus also referred to the Church being “caught up” before the tribulation, citing Matthew 24:21 (“There shall be tribulation such as has not been since the beginning, neither shall be”). His views on the Rapture were likely influenced by his understanding of the imminence of Christ’s return, which was a dominant theme in early Christian eschatology.
I would argue that God poured out his wrath during the flood but protected Noah and his family. He can do the same for the church without rapture. He is all powerful.
@@TheScriptureRetreat The church (body of Christ) HAS to be "taken out of the way" (2 Thess. 2:7). It is hindering or restraining the man of sin. The body would recognize him based on what it knows from scripture. This would stall God's plan, and in effect hinder God. There is no good purpose or reason for the body to remain on earth during Daniel's 70th week, while God deals with Israel. A 'rapture' (of the OT saints) has already taken place (Mt. 27:52-53; Eph. 4:8-10). Denying the pre tribulation rapture of the church is just petty rebellion.
Absolutely right again. Thanks for the historical background on the pre-Trib belief which didn’t exist prior to 1830. Although it is not a salvation issue, it is important to embrace the right belief due to deception. I heard a leader told someone of his intention to go to a Bible school and the leader replied that Christ was coming back anytime so why waste your time in the Bible school? This is deception!

Check this Bible verse proves the rapture comes after the antichrist therefore it is post-tribulation. 2 Thessalonians 2:1-4 Now, brethren, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, we ask you, not to be soon shaken in mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter, as if from us, as though the day of Christ had come. Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day (Jesus second coming or us caught up in the clouds) will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, (antichrist and false prophet) who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.
You mix two different events into 3 verses. Our gathering together unto him is not the "second coming" or the day of the Lord, it is the removal of the restrainer (verses 6-8). Your scenario has NO GUESTS for the wedding and wedding supper, which takes place IN HEAVEN before the day of the Lord (Rev. 19:7-21). Your scenario also fails to IDENTIFY the restrainer in verse 7, AND the "elders" in Revelation 4 and 5.
Where you are mistaken is that you assume that the Day of the Lord is the same as the rapture. Thessalonians were panicking because they believed that the persecution they were enduring meant that the Day of the Lord had begun, thus, missing the glorious rapture Paul talked about before. Paul reassured them that no one will miss the rapture because this event will have to come first, before the day of the Lord comes. Indeed, this was to comfort believers... Your eschatology is everything but comforting.

In order to have everlasting life you absolutely must trust in the person and finished work of Christ alone for salvation ❤️ this means that you either believe that Jesus paid your sin debt in full or you don't.

or start from the beginning of book of Revelation and ask for understanding. Seems the bible takes a pre wrath view. Not just in Revelation but Matthew 24, Mark 23, Luke 21
@@JacobyNoctis I agree. It is however laid clearer in these two chapters in terms of the timing. When was the born man-child raptured and what happened to the woman that was left for the remaining 3 1/2 years.
Correct, tribulation saints. Not the OT saints. Not the church/body of Christ. Not the 144,000/man child. And not God's two witnesses. All of whom are resurrected at different times. The resurrection of the tribulation saints concludes the first resurrection.
Having a rapture at the 7th trumpet means you have God pouring out his wrath on the church, which is false (1 Thessalonians 5:9). There is no rapture in Revelation 11. Read Revelation starting at chapter 7 verse 9 and there you will see the rapture which is after the sun and moon are darkened just like Matthew 24 and Mark 13.
