Absolutely and on this basis Arsenal have to win it twice to catch Forest on a historical basis. Even though you may not have been born but in the 1980's the biggest clubs were Liverpool/Forest/Villa and Man Utd and they all had won the European Cup. Those days you had to first win the league before you could actually qualify. Liverpool/Forest/Villa dominated that European competition between them for 6 years running. For perspective, a modern day equivalent would be like Man City/ Liverpool/Arsenal dominating the Champions League title between them for the next 6 years running - now consider how daunting a task would that be?

Man Utd, Liverpool, Forest and Villa all won the European Cup before anybody in Europe ever heard of the financially doped Chelsea, Arsenal and financial doped Man City. Between Liverpool, Forest and Villa purely on footballing merit they dominated the European Cup for 6 years running, yes kept the title in England for 6 years. For perspective and to convert to modern times Man City, Arsenal and Chelsea would have to win the Champions League between them for 6 years running, to replicate that feat.
