Why not try “SOMETIME , SOMEWHERE”. A song written by Ryan Cayabyab, originally written for Basil but was performed by Regine Velasquez at Ryan Cayabyab’s Concert - MusicMan@50 last 2004 produced by ABSCBN. Regine was the finale solo performer for that concert though Regine was a GMA artist. Ever since only Regine performed it and finally was officially given to her last April 22, 2018 (Regine’s Birthday) and was also recorded for Regine’s R3.0 ALBUM (2017).
Then morisette performed this song during R3.0 Concert together with Regine. Morisette also had solo performances on different events singing this song.

Some fans become so protective to the point na nakakasakit na. When someone sings a Regine song na hindi magaling, they kinda look them down. When someone is soooo good singing her songs, they felt threaten and repudiate. It is very sad how some people can attack their fellow Regine fan just because of having an immense talent as our QUEEN has.

She’s good but REGINE VELASQUEZ IS JUST ON A DIFFERENT HIGHER LEVEL. The tone, power, precision, texture, resonance and projection on Regine’s voice is UNPARALLELED. Others may sing on the same key (or can hit even higher notes) as Regine but there is something unexplainable in Regine’s voice that makes her always a notch above everyone. REGINE IS MAGICAL!

May brilyo ang boses ni kat. There are lot of singers who can hit high notes but only few can touch me emotionally and kat is definitely at the top of my list. Her ability to send the message of the song accross the listeners samahan mo pa ng vocal technique na talaga namang pandayo eh ewan ko nlng talaga. Here is what I have to say.
Regines version will give you emotions and belting. Belting that will leave u breathless. Belting is a thing but belting with emotions will make it more ethereal and will make it not so worldly.
Katrina on the other hand, killed it as well. Katrina's belting and breathe control is the only one that can go closest to RVA on all of our singers today. Her lung power is undeniably amazing and powerful. She is the one who can try and nail a RVA song.
Both artists deserve better treatment and love.

Both were brilliant. Difference is in the goal of the singer. Regine's version is very sincere in giving respect to the composer Mr. Ryan Cayabyab and very sincere in story-telling and with her emotions. Her notes sounds very angelic and at the same time entertaining. Kat Velarde's version however seems intended to be on par with what Regine did. Her notes were high. I'm on Regine's side on this one.

Yes boss...true! And the best about regine that others can't do sometimes, yong during final performance niya is different from her rehearsals. Kasi sa final performance niya nangyayari ang mga surprises lalo na sa paghit ng mga high notes surprisingly that hasn't done during her rehearsals...at yan din ang sabi ng iba na nakakawitness kay regine in person during some of her shows😊...
