- Dupont's stunning linebreak will make the rugby highlight reels (rightly so) but take a moment to appreciate the work from the Forwards. For me, this turned a wonder linebreak into this super rugby try!

Baille was originally a center as a youth player, which explains his surprisingly good support lines and ball-handling for a prop
Love that intel! Thank you 👍
He was playing 10 as very youth player !
Cyril Baille also used to play football and he still likes to practice kicking with the backs.
@@PyroManSir I like him more everyday!
il a commencé 10 a lannemezan, puis surcharge ponderale oblige il est passé devant pour notre grand bonheur
Thanks for the analysis, didn’t see the running line of Baille before you showed it and it’s great to have these insights!
You’re welcome and thanks for taking a look. When I saw the carry I wanted to take a closer look as he came in with such intent. Turns out it was a 50 m run up!
@@ContactCoach yes we are all following Dupont’s run lol! I get too emotional watching the games live so post analysis are always great, keep on the good work! 👏 interesting too to see how Fickou automatically takes the number 9 and how so many forwards are around. It looks like the Scottish défense thought they’ll get a bit more time to get reorganised but everything went at the speed of light … even the big guys lol!
Great analysis! Baille and Marchand are phenomenal. Power, stamina, and high IQ rugby.
Agreed- pretty dominant in defence, too!
Well seen !!! I missed see that completely. I was more focused on Fickou's work stepping in in lieu of Dupont to maintain the momentum. It has to be part of France game plan, it was so smooth ! Beyond that I found Fickou plays so well all the time, that he gets unnoticed.
Fickou, for me, is the heartbeat of the team in attack and defense. He’s simply immense all the time! He stepped in at 9 on this play and if you look closely he’s looking to pick and go but then gives a great miss pass to 2nd attacker. Subtle but important. Thanks for taking a look!
@@ContactCoach 😀😀 yes, he can Play 9, 11, 12, 13, 14 position. And make scrum. Great guy
@@djoamigoos1618 A true all-rounder!
What is even more amazing concerning Baille is that he did the same thing on the second try. He is on the left side of the pitch for the touch then, one ruck and a few passes later, he is the first one on the other side supporting Penaud then offloading to Moefana for the try !
huge work-rate! Thanks for sharing, Norbert!
As a French, it was to me the best match I've seen from them ! Thank you coach.
A great combo of pace, power, skill and tactics! Thanks for watching 🇫🇷
Crisp analysis man, nicely done. Would love to see some more videos like this.
Thanks, Peter. I dropped off UA-cam a little (I have lots of videos on my library) as I was focusing on Instagram (same name). It's nice to be back as I like these interactions. Thanks for taking a look.
@@ContactCoach no worries mate, good luck with the channel 👍
@@peterw7512 appreciated, Peter!
Clever analysis! I had not seen where Baille came from to support Dupont on Willemse try. The complete modern prop!
Hello! Yes, it’s often the work off the ball which makes things happen. I love his acceleration onto the ball- it gives Scotland no time to adapt.
@@ContactCoach and Baille did exactly the same type of clever run for the second try, from the left to the far right, fixing two scottish defenders and offloading it perfectly - like the center or fly-half he used to be when he was young - for Moefana.
@@ericsicard910 Awesome, Eric. Thanks for sharing. Such a threat when you can run and pass/offload in equal measure.
@@ContactCoach yes we call him « the 8th backward »
@@ericsicard910 Love that!
Very, very, very good analysis... I didn't see that watching on tv... I must say i was too exited to be analytic!
Thanks! It was a very exciting play to watch for sure. More of the same would be nice in the next two rounds!
No wonder Scotland stopped its normally efficient kicking game early, they got punished on it by two tries. I think this try shows a real strength from the French side is that on this try: Dupont could have had the number 15 in his back, Baille the number 12 or Fickou the number 9, and no one would have noticed it. While the contexte is disorganized, the French team is effectively organized.

hi coach! maybe the best try of the 6 N
It would be hard to beat but never say never with this French side 🇫🇷
Legend
Thanks for taking a look 👊
CC is baaaaaack 😋
Thanks for having me!
Also France's second try Cyril Baille had no reason to be near the play, but he's there to give the final offload. And who scores it? The left wing who works around to the far side. Yet Finn Russell can't run back on defense.
Yeah, Finn is getting a bit of heat for that. I agree that working off the ball is such an important aspect of the game.
And she is happy! 🤣
Too often that ball gets spun when the space near the ruck. Well done
Brilliant by Fickou
🤩
The French are fizzing!
Y'all be giving all of our plays then we going to loose again like a couple years ago 😭😭
Just joking great video
haha, I'm sure there is more magic coming in the final two rounds!
@@ContactCoach indeed, french flair always makes you doubt, but at the end you get happy about it...
@@lagski815 I'm very happy with what I am seeing. Can't wait for the last two rounds!
Watch just how little Finn Russell does to get back in to the D line once he has been passed. It’s a great try but it isn’t unstoppable - some effort from him and the gap would have been plugged
Nice point. Finn is copping a hammering for it right now.
Ficoud demi de melee
If Ali Price could tackle we wouldn’t have lost that game. Also Kinghorne needs to get lost.
Tough one, I feel, on that front as I think there is a little bit more going on.
If…!
@@bertrandviolette9008 ouch!
Also no effort from finn 😂
Hrs getting a bit of heat for that
It was boys against men to be fair
Scotland produced a few decent moments of their own to be fair.
@@ContactCoach You can't have a great game without 2 good teams. Scotland did some great moves but they were overwhelmed by the non stop french strikes. I hope France remains focus for the next coming games and don't see themselves too strong and disrespect the game. (It's a bad habit we have usually in France) (sorry form my english i'm french ;))

@@marchamill Great to hear from you. Two huge games for France coming up. It's hard to bet against them but this championship throws up all sorts of results year in and year out!
