I m from India....I want to mention that whenever they start performing haka their attitude their experience suddenly changes into a warrior. Great performance by all of them
Maori are indigenous people who are very brave in their history, and the world respects brave people very much : Samurai, Viking, Mongol Turk, Maori
@@numeralsparaoh9255What nonsense the Haka is just rude joke.
I'm not from New Zealand, I cannot understand what they're saying, but the emotions makes me cry everytime I watch somebody doing Haka..✊🏻💪🏻🔨🏹🗡⚔
Siento lo mismo, simplemente mis lágrimas salen
Também sinto o mesmo. É muito lindo ver história sendo reproduzida por gerações. Lindo!
Moving every time
Me 2
Go on cry a thousand buckers
2:50 Imagine being on the field and Chabal gives you this look just before the game. I'd happily go sit on the bench.
😂😂😂👌
You are soft, you are fragile .
You a 😺then
He counts as a one-man Haka.
Imagine you're witnessing an ancient polynesian war.
I am of the American Indigenous people, the Ojibwe tribe & the Arikara tribe. I can feel the warrior blood in me just raise up to find strength everytime I see Haka! My eyes tear up knowing that traditions were not lost for Haka to still be practiced when colonial forces tried to kill off powerful cultures & traditions from around the world. We are all one people with different traditions, no one is better than another.
Our ancestors fought back against the crown they didn’t exactly beat the Māori wars were won and lost from both sides the crown is just lucky the Māori didn’t unite under one banner as the crown only fought against tribes and the Māori still gave them a run for their money they needed a treaty to stop us.. it’s not just the haka that were saved our culture is very much alive today our language and traditions still live on we have schools in full Māori we have universities with Māori studies we have political seats in parliament etc the white man can never break us
I love your culture to its a crime that the white man and the black people over don’t give you guys more respect they should go back to their own countries the worms
I'm of African ancestry and I can feel the same thing, it's just that we were colonised and stripped of alot of our traditions but I get chills everytime I watch the Haka, it's more than physical it's spiritual.
I’m from Italy. Native american history make me cry every time. I can’t imagine how bad a native american could feel living today in reserves.

I am from India. And I have been a fan of this culture from last year. I have watched every possible haka performance and it never gets old. Never. It's such a boost to the inner strength mentally and physically. As if it awakens who we are. Our own believe in ourselves collectively. Beautiful culture. Extraordinary coordination. And the most remarkable thing is each one of them knows about it in their team and so much clarity in their own cultural knowledge. Beautiful ❤️
True it's like boost of testosterone. Ironic that we have the most wonderful and powerful culture and traditions ones it was the most powerful empire have so many martial arts like kalari , gusti and we still don't feel proud enough because of it slowly dying 😔
May be india can start a new culture of haka like spewing cow dung while shouting doing the haka.
Goosebumps man. Every. Single. Time
Every single time.
Yes it makes me tear up. It’s very powerful
@@jakethecarpenter7795 same dude I don't get it I'm Mexican, maybe it's the energy
@@nomaddennis2126 I just admire the passion and love that goes into it
@@jakethecarpenter7795 I feel it bro, all the emotions in their faces coming from their souls almost. Dope af
What a fabulous culture. It surely awakens my soul.
@@user-gu4tv4hp6s you are the greatest virgin on earth
And awakens dogs on the roads..they think ghosts have arrived
Brings tears to my eyes even though i'm not from the region, it's such a beautiful tradition
It’s not a religion
@@imkeegs4472 idk where i implied it was religion, lmao
@@sjeskey8361 ohh yea sorry I thought u said religion
Haka is just so AWESOME. But the one done/performed (sorry, dont know the right term) by the girls, the Women Team, was absolutely breath taking. It is awesome beyond awesome. I thank you for letting me enjoy that. Respect from Poland.
Known as ‘The Black Ferns’
I’m sorry but the woman’s one was the worst and culturally there not even meant to be doing it. It is only recently that white people in New Zealand decided to take out culture as if it’s there’s and say that it’s ok for women to be able to the haka which is spitting on to and enforcing your beliefs on to another culture.
@@dominicreid5281 aren't they new zealand
From which cage did they escape?😂🤦♂️🙄
Dankooo😉😉Same here. Am from South Africa Ladies Haka was Marvellous gave me chills 😢
I See this for the First time of my life . WHY DO I HAVE TEARS IN MY EYES?? 😱👍👍👍👍 😍
When the women's team performed there's it hit on a different level
In maori lore women don't haka as they menstruate and get pregnant thus making them sacred this is the white man using our culture!!!!!!
It’s so powerful you can see the tears of emotion in the other team’s eyes. Amazing & beautiful!
That might jus be fear 😂
@@binary2699 Yes, I see the French team are holding hands and possibly trying to build a Maginot line...
Les français sont les seuls à défier le Haka tout en le respectant. L esprit guerrier des français...
From which cage did they escape?😂🤦♂️🙄
I do this on my porch when the pizza guy arrives.
Still remember my school Haka 37 yrs after first learning it , nothing and I mean nothing stirs the Mana more in a kiwi than a spine - chilling haka . 🔥👊
Imagine if the Irish were doing riverdance and France doing the french can can before a game. Ridiculous! Right, the theatrics should be done in their changing room.
What does mana mean? Is it like soul or energy?
@@christianjambou8208 ridiculous to you 😂😂
2:38 long hair, bearded guy "I'm definitely in the wrong team"
Well no...France beat the AB at that game.
Sonium sun : exactly what i thought👍
He just doesn't buy in to their 🐂💩.
That's the Caveman look...
Sebastien chabal is defenitly at the right place
I'm from eastern Canada of Mi'kmaq and Nordic heritage, basically an indigenous viking... I tear up and just watch enthralled every time I see a Haka performed, just speaks to my soul
Ey nice im from the faroe islands. Our people are decended from the Norweigian vikings and Irish celts
I totally agree, the Haka is so amazing to me, I’m not even on the field and I get scared when I see one!
I'm straight ol english, and this speaks to my soul too.
It speaks my soul too.
I'm Irish, English, Norwegian, German and Scottish. Maybe I just have the soul of a fighter/warrior. It awakens a fighting spirit within me.
Seeing a Haka performed makes me want to kick some a**!
That's really cool. I wonder what it would have been like for the Vikings to meet Māori. I feel like they'd definitely connect with their warrior spirit
The best Haka of all time is All Blacks vs Wales in Cardiff, 2008. The standoff afterwards was amazing
Haka makes me cry! The passion and ferocity, so beautiful🤩
I always cry during every HAKA performing. I can surely say that is the only thing that makes me real emotional and touched ! 🙌🏻♥️✊🏻
Makes me cey and smile at the same time. So much love and respect from India 🇮🇳
Caveman Chabal a LEGEND and a beast! Love from Morocco.
Bless
Truly awe inspiring and magnificent! One can never think of rugby without acknowledging the All Blacks and their Haka!!
Love ❤️ the haka always & forever proud of all the men and women from NZ sports that perform to there best and give it all in every game it's the Ultimate ✌🏈
And both the men and woman back it up too most of the time.
Спасибо! Обожаю регби! А ХАКА, это отдельный вид искусства затрагивающий до мурашек!
여자 럭비팀 하카보고 눈물이 났어요..경기에 임하는 선수들의 결연한 의지가 빛나는 것 같아요.
I like this, seriously. It reminds me of our Zulu regiments when they do their stuff especially when they are in a ceremony or getting ready for war in the olden days.
The haka is war dance that Maori tribes performed before battle to intimidate th opponent or to gain the gods favour but this particular haka was made by one of New Zealand’s most cruelest warrior cannibal chiefs (Te rauparaha) and yes very are many haka’s just about every New Zealand Maori tribe had a haka but they chose this one to be New Zealand’s national one
Goose bumps all around
These give me all the chills 🥹 so badass
Goosebumps from Italy 🇮🇹 ciao a tutti
Alessandro D'Orsi ciao
I literally can feel the power that the dance and chants have. 🔥 Amazing
The noise us deafening on the last clip. Absolutely fantastic
This is a beautiful, magnificent, powerful tradition of human spirit. May it never be forgotten
The only thing more intimidating than an All blacks haka is Chabal staring at you willing to rip you off existing 🔥🔥
The best in my opinion is number 4 and then number 1, not so much for the Haka but for how the French respond, they aren't intimidated and they walk up to and hold the eye contact of the NZ players and take on their challenge. What a great way to start a game.
I think the French were so aggressive they should have respected this cultural display
They are not meant to walk up like that. The French were being disrespectful. Back in the old days they would have been killed for doing that. No space left to pick up a peace offering.
Never seen the haka before 1992 or understand stand why.
But when I did nothin but love and admiration 💯👊🏼👊🏼👊🏼.
Also in 1992
2:49 that look from Chabal was just insane!!!
Watching Hakas makes me cry 😍
Tears of joy
Fabuloso! Um povo q não esqueçe suaz tradições! Haka é lindo, emocionante 🏴

やはりこのニュージーランドのハカ、中々素晴らしいですね。

big respect 🙌🙌🙌🙌 my heart is beating so fast ..and i cry after seeing haka...wonderfull
Lovely tribute, I grew up watching Jona Lomu play rugby, his haka was a fearsome sight to behold R.I.P 🙏💜

As I do with my UA-cam videos.
Love it. 2011 WC with Piri Weepu. Man, gives me goosebumps.
Yep. In New Zealand, in a final, and a BUNCH of those players will have waited 4 years to play the French again. Doesn't get any bigger than that. France were very good that day, but I remember being really pleased for NZ and NZ Rugby that they got it done.
Love Piri, but if kicked anywhere near as good as he performed the haka then the gap between the scores would've much bigger
Joubert made the world of rugby puke that night
Nothing hotter than a tough woman doing a haka🔥
Mana Wahine!!!😍😍😍
Yeah OK,weirdo
At 2:50 France team shows his own "haka": les regard meurtrier du Chabal, Chabal's murderous gaze ☠
What game is that
Quarter finals 2007. And France wins 20/18. A great moment.
I dont watch or understand rugby but love all blacks haka....it gives me goosebumps
Amo las danza haka. Pero creo que más amo como Los Los contrincantes sienten temprano se les ve en Los ojos. Hermosa cultura. Lo más maravilloso es que aún la conservan.
i'm from vietnam, i don't understand what they're saying while dancing their traditional dance but when i came across it by accident online their haka really made the hairs on my neck stand up and I felt like something was boiling inside. I am very impressed with the maori haka dance, I got to know it through the game civilization 6
Civ 6 fan supremacy. Are you a Kupe player?
Goosebumps !!
I watched some hakas this week due to a presentation i have to do about new zealand with some of my students from 5th grade. So, i have been looking the best video to show kids 10 or 11 years old...so i have watched many, and just now, watching this video i heard my 2 years old daugther saying some "haka" lines!
Even she loves haka!
this is real! goosebumps activated!
really incredible and indescribable the feeling that lets me see them do the haka👏🏻🥰
I'm a woman whose heart swells every time I see men getting to do something uniquely male and not be subjected to accusations of "toxic masculinity".
One of the most impressing things human can do in a group.. thank you guys
Best haka I have ever watched was the 1st Kapa Opanga 2005 vs the Boks!
It gives me good feeling 😊 I love new Zealand 🇳🇿🇳🇿
They just got sent home with their tails between their legs.
The HAKA is SO FIYA, I love it
Watching the Haka gets me pumped up
Apart from the Hakas performed after the game, you should include the score that came after the Haka
What? You want to see the All Blacks win all the time? ;) Lol
@@mathiasbaridon5325 sarcasm bruh! Forgot I even wrote this comment

As a Indigenous from Canada seeing the Haka makes me emotional every time. The connection to Māori culture is beautiful and humbling I wish Canada was more respectful to our indigenous cultures. Indigenous Proud ✊🏽 Indigenous Strong 💪🏽.
Oh please. If you guys were actually in-charge Canada wouldn't have been any different to what Somalia is. Sit back and let us be how we are.

oh man i tear up every time, every time.
I luv rugby because of Haka.... It's simply the most inspiring and motivational for all neutral fans of rugby. It's also always been looking forward too... period
Look at Nonu 7:24 😂
I'm as British as they come though I love the Maori culture and a Haka really gets my blood pumping
Allein vom Zuschauen bekommt man schon selbst einen Energieschub❤❤Toll🎉🎉❤❤
I saw once Olsen philipana lead the NZ haka in the 80s against Australia and still to this day I don’t think anyone has ever led the haka with the intancicity and emotion he showed that day. He had saliva and spit spewing out his mouth and the fact he was crying at the same time made it the most emotional thing I’ve ever seen in my life.
Se me erisa la piel de emoción 🥰🥰
Essa dança do Haka, me emociona. ❤️❤️❤️
slc, é mto foda
Sem mentira nenhuma vendo este vídeo estou toda arrepiada e chorando de emoção
Beautiful ❤️ I have goosebumps and tears in my eyes.
06:05 pretty much at the same time they performed this Haka, a powerful earthquake was recorded in Turkey, quite on the other side of the planet. All Black's Haka can shake the world.
I freaking love these Haka ceremonies! Ha ha
It never fails giving me goosebumps 😳
Same
Warriors for all time. I absolutely love an All Black's Haka.
Haka makes my son tavonga planks smiles when watching it
Amazing haka performed by women!
my girlfriend does her version of the Haka everytime I come home late and tipsy from the pub...

The first one (number 5) was the best one in this clip. Brought me to tears wtf
Number 4 should definitely be number 1 in my opinion, love it
Muita enegia. Até arrepia👏🇧🇷👏👏👏👏🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
They're not only intimidating...They're CRAZY!!!
Очень необычно 🤩 Чтить традиции - это правильно.
I’m not native to New Zealand but I stick my tongue out and shout with them! My tribal African, tribal Native American, tribal Celtic, and tribal Noris blood starts pumping wanting war smh freakin awesome!!!!
U a full rainbow lmao
Tears in my eyes every time I watch HAKA
в ютубе есть проходы этого бородатого огромного француза, приколитесь сами, они шикарны, бесстрашный человек, хоть я и самоанец, но такой француз, навяжет борьбу каждому:D😁
The 2nd one is way more expressive and powerful that the 1st one, it was amazing
If I were those Brits I would be scared shitless watching the NZ doing that haka!
Heaps of people talking about Chabal, but forgot to mention 1:10, these women have bigger balls than half of the men in the crowd.
Fantastic. Strait ahead in the soul
French guy with the long hair looked like a god. What a time 2 be alive
Im South African but I feel I was made to be part of the Haka nation🙌
Zulu’s beating on their shields and stomping, shouting is similar to the Haka. A sign of respect as well as a call to war. Pretty amazing cultures.
This are the best thing in sports, im tellinn ya 👌🔥💪
