Who else really really feels this song? Even if you can't relate, you can feel the pain and realness in his voice But not only is it real, he ties it up with sick rhymes and an awesome beat.... Jamie Madrox > God Whoop!! Whoop!!
This song really does hit you hard, and personally close to home. Jamie and Paul are amazing artists. I can relate to so much and you guys have gotten me through hell and back.
right on, he IS with you. im very spiritual, i have out of body experiences all the time and communication is definitely legit. i hope you get to fly with him on a conscious level so u can appreciate him again and again until u leave this physical realm and cross over. you dont have to ever worry about him laeving you, he wants you to know he will never leave you. truly. im not bullshittin. he remembers everything.
I agree and I also relate to him a lot more then most of the other artists I love all kinds of Wicked shit but other then local Wicked Wisconsin artists(Dark Half, Liquid Assassin, Bloody Ruckus, etc) Jamie and Shaggy have always been the two that have hit home for me More recently Young Wicked has started to climb that list to but I need to see more then his AMB shit Slaughter and the Killjoy Club stuff
i believe we are shown things we need in times of trouble and confusion. The energy Jamie has in the chorus is one of the most psychedelic things i’ve ever heard. Incredible song. maybe his best
I've had hard times where I can relate to this song alot, I love it and keep strong and look toward the goodness in life, others have it worse, always.
My grandpa is who I called "pops" he passed back in 14, and I always play this song when I really miss him, love ya pops, can't wait til we can have our index finger handshake again, it's been too long
Pop's died when I was 19, not ten, and I never had a mother growing up (only known her since I was like ten, after that she left and that was that. Never seen her again). Also, this line: "Standing in the wikline, free honey and cheese with gratuity baskets from local charities" "Mom's is trippin and pops is chillin, brainstormin tryin to come up on a million, or even a thousand, a few hundred would put us right on top because them bills are piling up and we're falling further behind" These two line brings back so many, many memories of getting boxes of food from the churches (most canned foods and shit like original malt-o-meal (but it wasn't brand name) type cereals. I also remember also the crazy shit and plans my dad used to come up with in order to pay next months rent. Like this one time he knew this cat who drove a truck for malboro cigs. He would sell up a box of cartons for a hundred bucks, and my pops would turn around and sell each pack for a dollar each. With whatever he ended up making, he'd come back around and buy me food - and then when I asked him "where's yours" or "have you eaten yet?" He'd just play it off, like "yeah I ate earlier" but I knew he was always lying. Not much I could say or do about that though. It sure does make you feel like shit to know your getting to go to sleep with a full stomach while your dad hasn't eaten in three days.
Same, man. I haven't listened to this song in a few years and only just came across it again. Now, as a mom of 3 boys, I get it. I completely, totally get it, and there's got to be a ninja cutting onions in here or something, because I'm not crying. No, not at all.
Love this, and love that you took the time to do the lyrics. MCL Just so you know, It's "Just like a parent wanna shield you from all the pain, No matter how much inside that THEY'RE suffering" But excellent job and most appreciated!!
Omg this song tells my story 😭 I have worked on my shadow work though and in the process of full acceptance and using my experiences to help others heal just as you are doing ❤ straight up amazing 👏 thanks for allowing God to use you to reach others. Rising up fron the ashes like a Phoenix has always been our superpower!
i can relate so much to this song because i grew up poor and still am but it was my uncle that raised me and he got cancer and that last verse was exactly how the sit happened and i hope and pray that no other ninja has to go through that much clown luv to all the fam
thanks for uploading.. quick note.. "just like a parent wanna shield you from all the pain no matter how much inside that THEY'RE suffering, true sacrifice like the wings of a dove and its real because its all love coming again" (parents shield their kids from the pain no matter how the parents are suffering)
Much Love Ninja from AZ WHOOP WHOOP!!! See this is what I love, Wherever you come from NO MATTER WHAT COLOR YOUR SKIN IS! We are a Family! I first heard this song many years ago as a teen.. I've always loved it but listening to it again as an adult makes it so much different. This may be one of the best songs I've ever heard and I don't even typically like this kinda music.

Twiztid is still the shit though and will never get the respect they deserve.

@The1Time1of1the1Nine This song is one of the closest things to my own childhood. It's definately my favorite song he wrote. After I heard it I really started listening to his lyrics
"I was the product of two people that never got along." sounds about right, moms was crazy, pops was angry 24/7, took drugs & drank a lil' too much, endless fights& the middle child always ignored. I'm feelin' understood &"Tear jerker" lives upto its name
i know this song i grew up the exact way other then named after a song these guys need the same respect other artis desever and same for all the fans whoop whoop
I knew from the first time I heard him rap that my son would be named after him and Jamie is 3 now. I never gave a fuck how much my family despised it whenever I hear Jamie or Twiztid everything is alright .

i believe we are shown things we need in times of trouble and confusion. The energy Jamie has in the chorus is one of the most psychedelic things i’ve ever heard. Incredible song. maybe his best
there's always struggle in life I strongly believe that it doesn't compare with the coming glory that is in us.

One of the greatest lines ever written
I'm new to Twiztid music (i hang out in reggae and hippie music, Lol); this is lyrical genius.
it’s one of the best choruses ever written.

Ego Sum Igni Damn.... you are missing something major in your life. The overwhelming negativity and misplaced judgment in your comment is truly sad. Ego Sum Igni I am willing to bet that you are an amazingly kind and thoughtful person away from your computer. That isn't a lie, in fact I would bet on it.
