@Lance76239 it's less about weight and more so that you can't grind an edge and sharpen it. If you could sharpen a trainer you are essentially getting the actual knife but at a much cheaper price. Company's simply deny it with Swiss cheese blades

Just look up tutorials and practice passing the knife from your various fingers to your thumbs, that’s how you pass it between fingers

I bought the live blade version first, cut my hand, and returned it for this. I’m only using for flipping really so it makes sense
