- Today me and Jack use Dave the armoured recovery vehicle to fetch the GoldenEye Chieftain from its place of slumber onto the concrete pad to begin its healing journey.

health and safety has left the chat
Health and maybe safety. My favourite.
AGAIN...!
You don’t want a ring on your finger when messing with kit like that……at best you’ll knacker the ring, at worst you’ll lose your funger😢…..😮
elf and safety? don't be rude!
"come with me, and you'll be, in a world of safety violations"😁
@@billhanson4921 Diesel Creek sang it better! It's a real earworm too.
FINALLY, with the platform shoes on, Jack can stand eye-level with Ted....
😂😂😂
Ted's being a good sport, standing on all fours so Jack and have a level conversation with him. Ted's such a good boy!
🤣
So now we know what Jack gets up too after work/ weekends!!!! 😂😂😂
😂😂😂
Definitely not Jack’s first time wearing heels 😂
any self-respecting mechanic must know their way around a pair of safety high heels
@@jpjude68 sequin tights next cant wait
I was thinking the same 😂
@@austinmorris1693 hi-vis, no less
Agreed he's too much a pro. Been wearing them in closet for years.
25:59 jack “marriage won’t change me”
* comes to work in platforms!! 😂
Meanwhile the missus is wearing the trousers.
Sorry to hear of loss of OddBall,
Best tank commander ever.
Grand
Amen
Always with the negative waves....
Ok we now know what jack does at the weekend, strange those shoes fit him really well.
😂
I think those are Jacks anti drowning in puddles wear.
Jack now identifies as a catwalk model...
Sweet gentle Jesus. You rocked the heels Jack
All day long I think chieftain was the best looking tank ever. I love being a mechanic on them (even though my knees have never forgiven me) and there was nothing as scary listening to the squadron move in the middle of the night in a forest. The sound of the engine the tracks it was just awesome. You bring back so many good memories😊
Brings back memories, from the 70s, of towing dead chieftains. Changing L60 engines when 120 clicks was considered an exceptionally long life.
We got one running well over 300
@@MrHewes Yeah, but the early 70s were pre-Belzona.
Get the boots back on, thas givin me heebie geebies.
Your best ever episode! Even better than 'getting the engine out of my house'.
The sheer power of the tanks. Their weight. Then Jack's words of wisdom 'If I believe what's going on in my head' and nails the tank manoeuvre only to suffer the indignity of completely getting the turret move wrong. Your team work. You slipped the safety ring onto the engine trolley and Jack put the safety pin in. Morecambe and Wise would envy your timing.
The detailed explanation of inspecting and removing the engine and the totally unexpected arrival of 'Jackaline' in his/her/them's' high heels made a very serious emgineering operation comedy gold.
Well done. Keep it up lads!
Good to see you all on normal duties again, Ted in charge, Jack prancing around and Joe doing what he is told. Ahhh, the world can rest again!
Watching two grown men and an ARV visibly age. First one to have a hernia wins!
Mr Hewes nearly squished his famliy jewels hahaha those tracks as stiff as fuck.
Well done Joe and Jack!
The tracks looked super tight on the chieftain.
Also Jack's sense of fashion is spot on. It looks like he's been practicing...a lot.
Ted did a great job with a little help from his friends!
I love Jack's new safety boots!
Those heels accentuate the prime calf definition on Jack, you can really tell he hasn't skipped leg day at the gym.
Love,the work,with tanks !! ,Two boys,and 2 tanks,but how they,works respect.
All I really needed after another standard 10hr day working outside today is coming home to see Jack climbing a tank, in the rain, in high heels.
You delivered. Top quality content.
Having the Golden Eye Chieftain is awesome. Im not a huge Bond guy but that is really neat. Love the recovery! Dave has a nice sound to him
ok you guys scared me there for a moment........thank god he put his boots back on...whewww!
Great video cheers for sharing
23:45 must be some good rain there Jack is really growing tall, soon be ready for harvesting.
I was going to say Jack is really shooting up but I didn’t want to infer any wrongdoing.
I can just imagine the health and safety man drinking a cup of tea and then chocking on seeing somebody foot ware ( very fetching by the way) and convulsing with his dinner stuck in his throat. Happy days, love your vids .😂
Man,Dave’s engine sounds so smooth. Great rebuild job.
Jacks a natural in high heels so we all know he does on a weekend 😂🤣 hey Jackie girl
So that’s where jack has been, trying to get up the workshop wall to put that banner up….must have taken him a week to get up that high ❤
8:25 it's like that scene in ali g where the blind guy is polishing the railings
Poor Jack, he does look quite good wearing those "stacks" for any other name. Pity he's got the walk down to a Tee... Anyway welcome back to the fold Jack, you were missed, if only because, you went off with a spanner, (Oh, sorry, someone called you a spanner, misunderstood the conversation). Nice piece for work getting that T piece off, and the bolts out of the flywheel, and Joe for his skill with the telehandler too. Nice to see the team back to full strength and in good heart. Thanks for all your work as usual.
Great to have Jack back 😊 , what an engine that is looking forward to hearing it run 😊
L60
Nice work Boys, Dave is has plenty of those Torques🤠
Well done "Malcom" ! Even with the Girlie beside you....what a Pair of pretty shoes😉
jacks shoes def make him look like a bundle of twigs. a real real big bundle.
HAHAHA! WHEN I SAW JACK WEARING PUMPS I JUST ABOUT FELL OUTTA MY CHAIR! HILARIOUS
You knowing the word, ‘pumps’, is a little sus.
@@johnnunn8688 hahahaha
amazing, Jack must have had the camera the first few minutes as he showed Joe's fly was down but could not get the banner right away.
Jack your a good mechanic. Joe watch your fly !
and we want more Ted action in the video's 😛
23:30 That's a really bad idea Jack. (climbing on a slippery surface with those) 😉 Always good stuff to have some fun.
I’ve got to hand it to Jack for his sartorial choices. I’m not sure what I like more, the heels or his expletive t-shirt!
Good to see the ARV earning its keep. Poor thing deserves a full restore tbh.
Poor Jack needed a step ladder to see that banner ... poor fella 😊
AND WHATS WITH THEM SPEAKER COULDN'T YOU FIND ANYTHING SMALLER ??
DAM that shed must rock !!
I've had a meal on behalf of the company, I get home, sit in front of my PC, and this appears. My cup runneth over. On a Friday to boot.
Totally, set the bar low and you'll alway be a happy chappy
@@gazfishI tell my wife the same..
I sold a bed frame within an hour of listing it. A small win in comparison but still worth celebrating. By watching this shower 😂😂😂
My wife said All Men are fools. I turned to her and said “ Yes ! But you married their KING !
You’re too funny 😂.
Of course Jacks platforms saved the day.If i had my passport id love to go to OMH but wouldn’t be enough time to process.Perhaps next year God willing.
How well Jack wore those heels it’s not his first time 🤣 maybe that’s how he gets on the adult rides at the amusement parks 🤣🤣🤣
Or maybe those are part of his costume when he entertains at the adult bars, if you know what I mean. 😂
“it’s like riding a bike…” that was classic Jack
i just love the sound of the Foden .could go to sleep to that sound ! saw two of them at Capel one was a crane and the other had a live in wagon on the back
Really hits home how much of a mischief you can do if you've got no bloody idea what you're doing. Looking forward to seeing how it runs up. Good to see the T-34 is doing a bit of lurking in the shadows too. 😊
23.25min Yep it's a bad idea Jack ! showing my age now but , back in the 70s platforms for blokes all the rage which led to injury on the dancefloor , twisted ankle and a dislocated knee cap, got carted off to hospital that night , on crutches for 3 weeks . Yeah go on ave a good laugh🤣🤣🤣
I have distressingly similar memories. Maybe not quite so bad, but all the same ...
but oh what fun we had on a night out and change from a £10
I love the fun you guys have with each other, and Jack that’s a fine pair of shoes you’re sporting there.Keep up the good work.😊😊😊😅😅😅🎉🎉🎉
Let alone the abilities, that Foden sounds PROPER!
I have goosebumps when I listen to this nice language, have Homesick and get crying 😢
When you have a PAC lift in the afternoon and a summer ball in the evening, get a pair of Jacky Choo platforms and look FABULOUS!
and for tonight's entertainment, we'd like 'Tank' , 'Caberet Jack'! 😉😛
Great work fella's, and Jack..ee? 😆😅🤣😂
Cheers for sharing.
Jack, you made my weekend. I work night shift, just came home, sat down to snack and watch you and Joe and the tank and I am nearly falling over laughing. Absolutely love Jack so much. Not his first time in heels but he is on the Prom's.
Be a very frightening image to see Jack fully dressed-up!
I know he's never been in the military, but in those heels, he looks like he was born to be a bootie!
@@ThePhoenix198 Part of the military life is being able to laugh at yourself as much as others in uniform. They still perform skits and shows at Christmas dressed in drag - though I think the pc brigade has had an impact, remember going to one way back in 1983 as a young teenager and being told to 'forget' some of the language I heard 😂
They fit you too well Jackie!
The ARV is by far my favorite thing in the yard, sorry Foden (and ted)
The amount of rust is exceeded only by the amount of dry humor. It made my week I must say. Thanks guys.
Another fine job well done. Looking forward to seeing your next one👍
First day back and Jack the man diva looking glamorous as ever 😄but I do wonder if he wore those so he knew what it feels like to be at a proper blokes height 🤭
I see Jack is heightning , as always a good show mates especially Jack walking with stilts
Ooo Jack you naughty boy
Ted. Foden. Jack in platforms. Another great video.
from sunny, to cold and raining.. love the weather.
Jack took to wearing those shoes so naturally. I'm sure it's not his 1st time. Haha
Those shoes look comfy Jack, nice to see what you wear when you are relaxing 🙂
It's almost like a recovery tank should have a reel of 'Hawser' inside, perhaps with a little engine so you can decide how much ';hawser' protrudes. I imagine adjusting that could be hazardous and result in some wincing. The commander could shout "WINCING" when he wanted to driver to reduce the amount protruding.
Those wonderful new work shoes look older than the tank. I remember those back in the day.
For a minute there I thought jack was changing to Jackie with those heels , ooh matron 🤣👍
looking forward to Op MH, will be celebrating my 59th on the Saturday - see you there!
Jack is enjoying those shoes way too much😂
Look how well perfectly length straps make the crane work like magic.
Would a one of those white party tents with longer poles . Work to keep the rain off the engine department?
Yet another awesome vid. Might I suggest a pair of steel toe capped sling backs next time. Just to keep H&S happy.
I've seen North Sea trawlers with less rust than the bottom of that tank. Talk about a work in progress.
Lovely summer weather up there too! At least Jack won't get arthritis in his ring finger 😏
There’s just something about military armour, guess it’s a boy thing ? Bravo men..and Jack.
Spraying diesel on the tracks as you pull it acts as a penetrant. Just use a garden spray bottle. It can't hurt and may help.
Looks like Jack's had his ring hammered!!🤔
Jack will be getting altitude sickness in those FM shoe's 😂😂😂
Workmanship on the marshalling techniques brilliantly, top job
I didn’t know you could get safety heels 😂
Well I've seen it all Jack newly married and balancing on platforms , just picture the bedroom antics Ha Ha .isn't it about time Jack starts driving the tanks he's a perfect fit in drivers position .cheers mate from Australia 🇦🇺 👌 👍
First we had 'Jack in the Box.'
Now, 'Jack in the heels.'
Bet he had a nosebleed. He's never been that high up before.
I just wanted to tell you guys you guys are doing amazing job. I really love the tanks and all the stuff that you guys remodel to fix up. It’s so amazing people actually take the time to do things like that. I would really love to see World War I tank, remodeled and restored. thanks for sharing the video. Much appreciated and thank you once again.
Any day where you get to muck around with Tanks etc is a bloody great day! You are living the dream guys. Well my dream anyway and i'm sure yours as well. 😁👍😎🇦🇺 Fun, fun and more fun.(Except for when something breaks down)lol.😱 Always a good post when the persuasion tool is required.
jack in heels with a bar is absolutely mint ahaha
and 29:52 the amateur was definitely pierce brosnan
"dave" did bloody well moving that around. Definitely made it work though!! But someone did better. Crouch recovery!! How the hell did they get that on a trailer!! 😂👍🏻
Excellent as always 😊.
You have to admit the chieftain looks the business
Just another run of the mill pair of safety rated steel toed high heels.
Cool video, really enjoyed this one.
Love it, the weight of everything on tanks is colossal, I remember it all from 30 years ago, even using the “slave” lead to start another vehicle was a potential finger losing situation 😂
The crossed cables means that when the recovery steers in a direction, the cable pulls in the opposite direction (watch the video). Suggest if it is in crossed it would be better for straight towing....what would I know! just watched your video
nice toe protection Jack, taking the engine out.
Lets take a minute and appreciate the weather conditions, temperatures and shoes these gentlemen will go through to bring us a video. Thanks!!
That’s a great name for a tank now mr hews can you connect up his exhaust pipe properly so he is not so obnoxious loud 👍👍🇦🇺
Dave sounds so racking good!
I’d flying in from the US to just see Dave , he go hard.
There are somethings in life once seen cannot be unseen, Jack in high heals is one of them
thanks to jack, we now know what it would partially look like if ginger spice helped to remove an L60.
That’s one thing off the bucket list chaps. Many thanks
omg he's walking around like having hoofs that Jack
Welcome back Jack. Congratulations!
Lovely shoes Jack😂
Get down and get with it cos were all crazee now! Me and Slade had shoes like that in the 70s but our heels were bigger!!
Towing with the cables crossed is going to only keep both tanks straight, if you keep the cables straight on, the tank will turn with the other
