I know right? That’s less then what my parents make in a year and they are both hardworking DOCTORS.
With what my mum makes a year (9k) it would take her 8 years to even be able to afford entry to the event. And she’s a care worker, so she spends her days looking after the elderly, keeping them alive and getting shit for it all day. But these people are just actors and artists?? I think this is the first time this is actually sinking in for me

I used to watch and enjoy Haley’s content during the quarantine era, like her skits and videos were quite funny and enjoyable from time to time. However, I’ve noticed she’s got more and more unlikable the more she has delved into celebrity/event culture. If you read the comments on her Instagram reels of her interacting with higher celebrities at red carpets and stuff, you’ll see many people commenting about her weird behaviour. An example being the creepy Barry Keoghan video. She was just so cringe and it was like she purposefully trying to act strange/awkward/quirky to get the celebrities’ attention. Thank god celebrity worship is dying

@Kazoo_Itchy I got SO tired of all the videos she made that were recommended to me being her embarrassing herself on a red carpet or at some other celebrity event. Especially male celebrities, she acts so weird around them and I will never be healed from the Barry Keoghan video.
Also just a random point but I never had a problem with her apartment before. Like yeah, I could subconsciously realise it was definitely expensive and huge, but she never felt like a flexer. Like I just remember my first time seeing it and thinking it was so weird, like why does she have to say it like that? Made me think about the double standards when it comes to gender in Hollywood too. Like if Haley was a guy commenting on a female actress who did a nude scene. "Let them eat cake" is a sentence coming from a book written by Rousseau, this book comes from a "series" of books called "Les Confessions", there's 12 books in total. The sentence comes from the sixth one, which he wrote between 1765 and 1767 (The six first ones were written between 1765 and 1767 and the six others between 1769 and 1770) So 5-3 years before Marie-Antoinette came in France (she was around 10 at that time).
Also "Les Confessions" is an autobiography, the events that he wrote in the sixth one was when he was in his twenties (he was in his fifties when he wrote "Les Confessions").
Marie-Antoinette never said that and we still don't know who said it for sure, but it might be one of Louis XV's daughter.
Marie-Antoinette was a bad person even though she never said that, and even though I hate this audio we can't forget why this sentence is heavily associated with the French Revolution.

I was not aware of the population situation in the United States. I didn't know it was going bad. As a French person, hearing that the situation is worse than during our French revolution shocks me. Aside from the fact that we do??? We have pregnancy centers that donate baby food, regular food, diapers, clothes for babies and mothers, free procedures like ultrasounds, and branches to foster and adoption centers.
Your problem is that not everyone chooses to use these places hence there are still children out there with nothing especially the children with mentally ill and addicted parents.
Oh and not to mention "pro-lifers" are the largest group of adopters out of any group in the U.S.

Just a small correction, she didn’t pay 75k. She didn’t attend the actual gala and therefore didn’t have to pay the 75k which is the price of a met gala ticket. She was only invited to the red carpet before the gala. In fact, she got a pay check out of it since she was asked to be there to do some media work

I'm never interested in fashion and I think my youtube algorithm is fine showing me the type of videos I've watched. But when the Met Gala event happened, my algorithm got flooded with ytubers talking about celebrities' outfits and I am confused. When I learnt about the #blockout2024, I blocked the celebrities that didn't contribute anything and the youtuber that are talking about them so they won't be in my feeds anymore. Now, my feed is flooded with Cannes(?) award and I am doing the same thing.
