I have a friend that's an design engineer for a large scale mass production mower gearbox/transmission manufacturing company. He told me to always buy commercial grade mowing equipment because residential mower transmissions are designed to fail at approximately 320 hrs.
Looks great my friend! As good as that mower is, I just can't go back to a 21 inch cut. Scag 30 is my go too push mower. Not sure if you had the swivel wheels on the 30, but it definitely makes a difference. 14:0214:03
Hey Eric I totally understand man. Yeah I had the front casters. My issue was the weight. My lawn always stayed wet it seems from irrigation and those wheels kept sinking further and further into the ground. I definitely do miss the time it saved.
This is tttf and I mow it at 2” most of the time. Keep it mind that the back is only a roller so it will “mat” down the turf over time. It’s an issue with this turf type for sure. If you keep it dethatched every few months it will work out fine. It’s a fantastic mower otherwise. Thanks for watching.
@@dailyDIYdudeI have barenbrug RTF Fescue and will be overseeding with Barenbrug HGT. Do you think it will cut high enough? I irrigate often. But I don't want the Nebraska heat to ruin the dark green.
Thanks. The stripes are very easy to produce. You actually don’t need anything but a nice lawn and a roller. Checkout my short video on what makes stripes in the lawn. Thanks for watching. ua-cam.com/video/TUzO8qLsduI/v-deo.htmlsi=c5mCxAOei5YjTwWt
I couldn’t agree more Justin. If this fescue doesn’t survive the summer, that’s exactly what I’ll be mowing with it. Thanks for checking out the channel bro 💪🏼
11:07 people always brag bout working hard. I don’t work that hard but still make pretty decent money. So which is better? I have a lot of free time to play with my Vette so yeah I don’t think I would want to work hard brah 🤔

Definitely makes sense to me bro. This one is definitely a solid commercial one.

What's your HOC in the backyard? I want one ofe these so bad. But I'm scared it's going to cut too low.

@@benwotipka3416 it only mows to 2 5/8” high. I’m not familiar with that verity of grass. I’d check the heat tolerance on it first

Appreciate it man. That mower is definitely a game changer. Thanks for watching 💪🏼
Awesome, do you change heights to get the stripes, or simply change direction?

That would be the perfect mower for a small warm season yard.
Not sure many people want the cost and hassle of a reel mower.
