@@silveriver9 its actually pretty consistent after stun, jump back lariat and hold forward works every time. but idk if its optimal for 2 bars

I love Zangief's music.
Yeah it has some soviet sounding melody and imposing intimidating feeling. Also catchy.

Watching top Giefs struggle to escape corner situations against characters like Cammy makes me feel better about the fact I struggle with the same exact shit (I’m only in Platinum with Gief)
He basically has no options to deal with corner pressure.

Master gief here. It doesn’t ever get easier 😂 you just have to have lots of patience and not get titled by their overwhelming options to pressure you
I'm at Platinum rank with Gief since the last month brother, don't worry it's harder than we can possibly know! lol
Just try to enjoy the learning curve and don't get discouraged if you lose.

That last round is just painful. Ryu had the meter to finish, but he wanted to conserve and lost because of it.

Zangief is my favourite character. Not only is he funny af he’s also canonically OP.
Except he's arguably one of the worst characters in the game currently (I'm a gief main and I love him too)

playing as gief and hearing giefs theme definitely makes me play better.
Zangief went from Clown to "FOR THE GLORY OF MOTHER RUSSIA" WAY too fast

I never really played Zangief in any of the SFs, but he seems like the kind of character that will fuck shit up if you know how to play him.
He is much more questionable in this game than the others. You'll need some insane skill to use him in high ranks
@@lightingthief4482 yep, SF4 Zangief has invincible EX Green Hand, that allows him to chance doing red focus after that. And SF4 command grabs is much faster and stronger okizeme, compared to this day. SF2 Gief has insane tick throw, but i think he is a very weak in Super Turbo, because he struggle versus Guile, Dee Jay, Dhalsim, M. Bison, Chun Li and others. Gief has no good anti-airs, and reversals, except the 1 frame SPD and super, very...very hard to play him, but SSFT2 is not much competitive and tournament game for me, it is a just good game with best music, cool graphics, voice acting, choreography and e.t.c, but without balance.

I think I saw something about a ranking system above masters like top % players
they should add “Grandmaster” at the very least

You know,I hate to say it but,I would LOVE it if they brought back Pullum Purna,and Skullomania,with updated movesets!!!....I had fun with both of those characters,back in the day!!!

at 15 seconds, how was he able to do 2 hellstabs in a row like that, I see it's a punish, but I can't do it.
I don't have time to test but drive rush gives you +4 frames of advantage on hit or on block, so it's probably that. Or it's a link. Probably would take some practice to get right.
