Great and clear videos, Two things I find annoying about the browser are, there’s no hardware button to browse up a level , you have to use the folder icon on the touchscreen, but worst of all when you do browse up a level, the curser reverts back to the top of the list, instead of being on the folder you’ve just exited.
@@CREATEEDUCATEINSPIRE that’s weird , because of a problem I had with the main button failing I had reason to reinstall the 2.10.1 firmware, now, when I go up a level in the browser the curser stays on the folder I entered. It definitely didn’t happen like that before.
This definitely is an issue i have with the browser too. I am a beta tester and with every build I make Akai aware this needs to be addressed. Hopefully soon because they are small issues but huge workflow killers
May I ask what brand of 1 TB SSD you purchased? I just received the Key 61 and would like to install one. BTW- great Masterclass. Thank you for taking the time to educate.
You MPC playlist is sorted by most recent first, so when I wanted to watch all the Masterclass vids on my TV, I had to keep backing out and selecting the next one because they were reversed. Maybe make them their own list? Or change the sorting of this whole playlist? Maybe it’s different on browser/app, but I watch on my TV and probably a lot of ppl do now too.
Help! Am I doing something wrong? I was using a usb storage and then switched to an SSD drive thinking this would solve my problem. When I go to contents/search directory and search for drums or whatever, it loads lets say 300 items, when I start scrolling through them, it loads another 300 and it makes me loose my location/place and sends me back to the top. If I continue searching it usually happens again and again. I have a 500 gb hd filled halfway and in order for me not to restart I have to give it time to load/find all my files. It's not the end of the world, but i noticed that your mpc loaded your search almost instantly. Is there any option, check box that I need to turn on? BTW, I've turned off auto and it hasn't avoided this issue. I'm using an MPC Live II. Again nothing major but if there is a way for me to avoid this loading delay, that would be amazing!! Tnx
A couple of things to check, make sure you’re on the latest firmware. Sometimes mine will do that too based on what I am searching for. Such as if I search my entire hard drive for claps, or kicks, it will do that same response. You can tell it’s going to do that one at the top of the search section you see that it’s still finding new samples, because when it’s loading up new samples from the search results it’s constantly going to be refreshing the browser. Unfortunately the only way to avoid this is under to narrow your search down to a specific folder so it has less files to sort through, or after you search just wait until the total resulting number stops going up
Its similar. On the bottom right of the software there is a ?, the icon to the left of that is the file browser. Got to a folder you want to create a short cut to, hold shift on the keyboard and click one of the 5 folder. Then you have a shortcut to that location.

I saw you speak on syncing splice. My MPC don't have that! I have the MPC Touch! I guess I got to Up grade
Synth touch is a desktop controller it will not have splice syncs

Thanks for supporting. I usually use Samsung 1tb ssd. Most are the same quality and will work great.

How do the five folders work on the software on the computer
