Welcome back to the BNB 80 Ep. 12!!
Finally we get to wind the boost up on the 1FZ and hit the dyno!
Scotty works his magic with the tuning to make some real horsepower, gonna be breaking some diffs and gearboxes with this thing... oops...
We also start tackling the dual battery system with the Redarc manager 30 and new lithium battery. Some great gear to make this thing comfortable out on the tracks!

If you’re doing something a bit different or weird, detail is good, if it’s the same as everyone else’s manager 30 install then time lapse is perfect
I have a 1fz powered cruiser too, and people have always looked at me funny when I say they're massively underrated. They're one of the best sounding and strongly built inline 6's you'll find.

Drill the rear hubs out to 10mm and replace the studs with 10mm high tensile capscrews. 8mm studs are the weak link.
Also slap a locker in the front diff & replace the crush washer in the pinion with a solid spacer. Crush washer is the weakest link in the driveline especially in the front diff

A little tip on blowing off the hoses.
Spray WD40 on the inside hose surface wear mounting.
Then clamp & wait overnight. It actually glues the hose to the metal surface. You may need to prise the hose off with a screwdriver if needing to remove the hose later.
Truly it really works.
more importantly need those torque numbers!

Hot tip, throw those AVM hubs in the bin and go get aisin hubs. Bad enough how weak 80 diffs and hubs are compared to patrols, don't need to make them worse with those rubbish AVM hubs.
Don't Aisin make some good shit. Gearboxes for every man and his dog, only part on some Jeeps that doesn't leak!

Would definitely love a bit more detail on the dual battery system set up. A tutorial on how to one would be great. Would help myself, as a certified 4WD rookie, out a lot haha.

When it comes to 12v I don't think you can ever have too much detail, I love 12v but hate it at the same time, it's good to see what people are doing and why they are doing it

as far as detail in your videos goes i think you are doing a great job of judging what to elaborate on and what to timelapse.
I personally really like detail. But if you want to prevent people maybe getting bored, add the time stamps in the description and they can easily be selected in the video. So then people can skip bits they don’t wanna see without having to do it manually.

Probably already thought of it. But when you close that pannel with all the electronics up it will get pretty warm. Could use a little fan on the top maybe 👍. Awesome videos! Love the content 🤙

The rear studs usually snap due to wheel bearings being loose! But if you want to look at an upgrade, pj’s off road do a hub and axle upgrade and they are suppose to mint!

would change the start battery to an AGM inside the vehicle as a lead acid battery will fill the cabin with hydrogen
