I love my suede espadrilles so so so much. At first, I was thinking of buying a pair of Chanel espadrilles. They were super cute looking but they were not comfortable because the salesperson said I should go size down in the long run it will stretch…but my feet were hurting so much even from walking for that size down. In contrast, the size up was too loose for me. For that $825 price point, I discovered that Hermés had the classic espadrilles that were $100 cheaper and I decided to give them a try. No joke they were a 1000x times more comfortable because of the leather that will tune in shape according to my feet once I wore them a few times more. I wore them to work and nobody knew I was wearing some luxury brands to avoid gossip. I was so so so happy with this purchase!
The classic colors in Oran (black, white, gold with contrast stitching) are more often in box leather, not swift - which is vastly more comfy than Epsom.
The most uncomfortable for me are the Extras! They were ny first Hermes purchase and I did the mistake of buying online. Once I started going to a boutique and got an SA she confirmed to me that the extras don’t really wear in and are one of the most uncomfortable shoes they have. 😭
@@katgibbs Lucky you! They are so cute, which is why I bought a pair in the first place! But they truly made my feet bleed and my SA told me they are considered one of the most uncomfortable shoes. I was so upset because I was still hopeful at the time that they would wear in 😭

That’s WILD! They are hands down my best Hermès shoe and the comfiest 😂 They broke in like a dream and now the leather is so soft.
