Ukraine won't be flying F-16s in combat for quite some time. Their pilots & maintenance personnel still have years of training ahead.
@@jtf2danUkraine has had harms forever, Russia has hundreds of SAM systems. The F16 will always be in danger anywhere near the border. It’s going to play a rear anti air and anti missile role, stand-off munitions platform. It won’t be over the frontlines except in rare situations.
This is why every single military expert has said they will help but they aren’t changing the course of this war.
RU has hundreds of advanced jets and even they can’t fly near Ukraine

With cluster munitions, you never know where schrapnel/fragments went, added damage to units wich seem fine or little damage on the soil on satellite images.

The only thing you need to know from the satellite image is that Russia did not shoot down all the ATACMS, maybe only small damage to the targets but the psychological effect will be ten fold.

Russians are not stupid, they are learning and reacting quite fast compare to the western world which was laughing about the russian cages and ideas how to defend tanks and armored carrier against drones
We send unprotected tanks into the battle like the abrams which had been killed by drones as seen in moscow.
Let me know who was more stupid to ship these expensive tanks to the ukraine without adding anything to defend against drones while we could watch every single day russian drone footage hitting the ukrainians.
Big defeat for us in the west to laugh about the russians and not being able to protect our far , far more valueable (we have no pile of 10.000 Leopard 2) against drone attacks.

@@typxxilps It's a war and nothing is safe on either side. They were expecting losses so chill out. They captured a tank or two there's no big deal in an asymmetrical war. NATO doctrine is based on an air superiority not on a meat grinding.

@@donwyoming1936 Those Ukrainian pilots are already trained on fast jets so learning the F-16 is like a civilian pilot learning to fly a jumbo jet rather than a A320
Comparing Boing and Airbus planes makes little sense as those had similar technology and had English language manuals and training. That said, only 6 or 8 Ukrainian pilots knew English language or were bilingual when the project started, and its totally different to learn modern western technology planes from Soviet era planes, the rest of the pilots will have to master English first before starting to train. That aside, the maintenance crew needs two or more training time than the pilots.

I have severe M.E. and despite learning a LOT about Ukraine, and military equipment over this past 2¼ years, my memory is bad, and I can't for the life of me, remember what various equipment is what. Same with place names....whether they are in Russia or Ukraine. You always slip in that extra piece of information, that lets me know what's what.

Yea, Turkey is finally realizing how bad those S-400’s are and they’re probably kicking themselves for choosing a couple of those over the F-35’s they could have had a helped in making some parts for it. Live and learn!

The positions of the SAMs and the wrecks are entirely different. How do you come to the conclusion that anything was even hit? For me it looks like the SAM battery was moved away, and on the after strike image there are just some dark dots that could be anything.

Does anyone know how much better Ukraine's damage assessment photos are? If they are getting US DOD images, how much more detail are they getting? EG- can they tell difference between decoys and real units from their photos?
they will likely be the same as the high quality images we sometimes get, which allow the vehicles to be ID'd. These are just free sentinel imagery

lol, If ATACMS can take them out..... The US could possibly take most of their mobile ICMBs, as they're all protected by S-400 systems..... This could ensure a US nuclear first strike capability.... Interesting. S400s are scaled to merk F-35s and F-22s loaded with AGM 130s and 158 JASSMs..... Leagues better than the best ATACMS.

Unfortunately, this isn't how ATACMS was designed to be used. It is a long range weapon designed to attack the Soviet (now Russian) commander's operational plan by disrupting the timing of an attack in a combined arms team. It came out of a program called Assault Breaker and the stock of missiles is finite, so sticking to the Pentagon's target lists and timing would be a good idea. Ukraine is fantasizing if it thinks it will be resupplied with the PRSM (ATACMS replacement) missile before the US Army has replenished what's been sent.
Over 3,500 ATACMS were built. Ukraine can probably afford to use a few in a way that you and the US Army might not approve of.

That system had coverage of the Kherson to Zaporizhia front lines. Russia also uses the S-300 and S-400 in a ballistic ground attack role. Russia has to replace that system now, which means difficult decisions about where that's going to come from. And it makes it easier to strike the airfield with other systems.
That's pretty good value for a couple of ATACM's.

Your footage doesn’t show that S300/400 have destroyed. These SAM systems aren’t small vehicles like Humvee. If any thing destroyed any signs will be showed up.
