You're a GENIUS! The only thing is that I don't have the spiral rod and the handle :(
+Cube Tuber Thank you very much! Yeah to bad it is a bit hard to come by, however if you would like to buy it separately I can recommend Lego's Bricks and pieces service :)
Me too
You can use a worm gear and a 1m gear
Amazing I have the rod from 1966 lego Batcave set and I used your design for a Batcave moc where a suit chamber comes up from level to level
+BrickBuilt That's cool! Would love to see it😀
Use a pneumatic tube connected to the end of the axle
For less slip
+Baba's Custom Lego Creations That's a good idea👍
also you could flip the elevator function upside-down to fix the problem with the weight hauling problem with gravity helping the yellow part stay connected?
Damn good video!
I will try to use it for a X/Y - axis system for a crane.
I say use it for a moving wall like in Star Wars or an entrance for a secret base
Very nice as always!
+Snazzy Naz Thank You!
Lego should use this in one of their future sets.
+Björn Lenz 👍😀
Ça pourrait remplacer un vérin sur le plan horizontal, l'avantage serait que cela offre une longueur d'utilisation plus grande, mais ça ne peut pas déplacer lourd...super création cependant ! 🤗
Good idea right there :) Thank you!
You might be able to attach many of these on different sides of the platform and it might be able to lift more.
+Daniel Glabai That's a very good idea I think, I might do that some time in the future😉
That's a good idea!
+VasPex Thanks!
Looks like a GBC in the making.
Cool, thanks! I have two of those spirals, will try to play :-)
+helenvader Thanks! Have fun👍😉
What is the yellow piece? I want to build something similar.
very very nice!
+Hobby Sapiens Channel Thank you!
Nice! It's a very cool idea! It suppose it could be used on a fork lift truck (for light objects?)😂
+All About Lego Thanks! Well it certainly could, however the maximum lifting capacity would be like one teaspoon😜😂
Dgustafsson13 😅 it could be a teaspoon forklift :D
wow
I wonder if this design could be modified to create a model train elevator.
I'm trying to figure out a design to get from my planned around the ceiling loop down to my shelf top shunting layout. I'm liking the idea of an elevator of sorts!
It could work I think. Though remember it can't really be extended to any longer than 30 studs of travel, and it's not that strong tbh, so in your case, I'd personally go with a different solution.
Dgustafsson13 I think that maybe manufacturing a similar design out of something other than lego could work.
@@ghostie6199 That's true
if you had a LOT of worm gears, and a long axle, you could fix the "clutch" problem.
+LegoMG Yes, but it won't run no where near as smooth as the yellow thing does, I've tried :)
Not sure this will work. I got excited thinking I could use them for the lift system I need to design for my pop up camper. Trying to build a functioning one with pop up roof and pull out beds, initially this looked great but 32 studs will be way too long
I can picture a lot of people using it in GBC modules.
If someone where to refine this design, it would be a great way to make R.O.B. the robot from the NES torso move up and down in LEGO form!
awesome
+brick master Thanks!
welcome bro
awesome! :D
+Thijs Van Hamersveld Thank You! :)
Great video! You should make more! I also dedicated my channel to LEGO
+Brick Corner Thank you!
@@dgustafsson13 hi
it's a very good idea . thank's , my name is SEB
leman'go. *It's a very good idea. Thanks, my name is Seb. Sorry, I'm the resident grammar nazi
+leman'go Thank you :)
may be able to encorporate this in vending machine moc
+Daniel MacAskill Probably :)
Or how about a recovery truck if you had two of them running parallel to shift the flat bed back and forth
Nice!
A trash collecting truck has that to remove the trash out of it right?
+HojozVideos Could work for sure
No Orange... But yellow, looks like a banananana.. :O
+Joseph Crissey I agree, they really should have molded that part in orange😒😉
Will this maybe be useful for gearboxes?
+Joran Prins I don't know, maybe :)
You could use this to make a jousting arena
+Sergei Petrov 👍👍🙂
similiar design is in the new lego minecraft set 21137
+〉TomoT〈 That's possible, haven't checked that set out really
Make a Faulk lift truck
I bet Lego had no idea this was possible
+jx592 👍👍😅
Platform lift
Ha ha snyggt!
+alvar aho Tack!
;)
What is the axle's part number?
+Ritchie Poh Which axle?
