I think I would go with the Ford Ranger Raptor instead of the Toyota TRD pro. It’s cheaper and if you get 100,000 mile warranty it’s still a little cheaper with a better ride and off road capability.
Please please please… switch brands. It’s painful listening to you whine about every little thing on your Tacoma. Also, When trading in, see if the new dealer will throw in a t-shirt that has sleeves! 😂
Over 10500km in the last 4 weeks on a road trip from Ottawa Ontario to the Yukon and Alaska. Towing my 2100 lb camper and been on some wicked gravel roads. Dumpster and also Top of the World highways, all gravel and rough gravel . My 24 Tacoma trd off road has performed flawlessly. Much more power than my previous 22 trd off road. I wouldn’t buy another brand, nothing beats the Tacoma in mid size trucks.
Toyota needs to put a bigger back seat in the Tacoma Crew Cab. They made it too small on the 2024 models. Lots full of them. They can’t seem to sell them
That's not why they can't sell them, I'm the perfect case and point. Planned on buying Toyota's for the wife and I. Either a Tundra/Tacoma and 4Runner specifically for their durability, longevity and quality. All that has been put on hold since the latest issue encounter in the suspensions, transmission and engines. I wish they would just go back to what they had without the V6 & 4 cyl-turbo's. Give me the naturally aspirated V6 and the V8 in the Tundra and we'd have them now.
In my humble opinion its not just the engine but how they did their pricing. I mean they want Lexus money for a toyota. And now they are lowering their prices but not enough. People have realized how greedy Toyota is and are pissed. Sure there were some hiccups. Now they are asking "whats this truck gonna be like in 5, 10 years from now ". Toyota's has stood for "value and reliability"!! Now people are questioning that.
Like Scotty said . Don't buy the same year vehicle because your the genie pig for others as to what is going wrong with the vehicle. So they wait before buying. Bought 23 Tacoma no issues while the 24 tacoma s off the line are having issues particularly the Tundras
@RobMotive I heard not all but some 4 cylinder Tacoma with turbo have problems. It's like not every Taco bell is going to make a Taco supream. Your 3 miles down the road and you know you ordered a Taco supream but you see no tomatoes inside your Taco supream are you going back 3 + miles to have them put your little copped up tomatoes. 😅🤣🤣😅🤣
I wouldn't call it ugly, but it in no way improved on the looks of the 3rd gen. They had to redesign because the 3rd gen had been around for so long, but they never got dated looking. All the other midsize trucks try to copy the look of the 3rd gen. when they don't, like the Nissan, it just looks like they missed the mark. Also how I would describe the new Tacoma styling wise...They missed the mark. It's different, but it's not evolved like a Porsche. Just different.
Most if not all the people on here pounding there chest saying I will stick with my V6. Be honest folks, your butthurt you can’t afford a new one? 😂 24 Tacoma even 4cyl turbo, has more horsepower and torque than previous years. I love my 24 off road premium
@RobMotive Sadly Rob, after many years of being a GM fella and owning many GM products, I had to give up on the brand. GM products are way overpriced, overrated, and underbuilt. Horrible reliability with long-term ownership, regardless of how well maintained and pampered the vehicle may be. It will absolutely drain your wallet and your sanity. Today's GM products are far from a brand worth buying.
@@car-diologist I have a neighbor down the street from me that owns a Toyota tundra, a 2022 model and he had to have his motor replaced. He was without his vehicle for 4 months. I never had that problem with a GM vehicle
I have the 2023 Frontier coming from 2017 Tacoma Trd Pro. It is a great upgrade.
New Nissan Frontier is the way to go.
No thanks I'll stick my 24 tacoma
I have a 2004 Taco and I’m going with the Colorado ZR2. It’s just the best value & it has rear AC vents my kids need for the hot Louisiana summers.
Bought a beautiful new 2024 Chevy Colorado
Absolutely love this truck!
Congrats on the new truck.

It may be stickered cheaper…but you can’t buy one cheaper!
Im taying with my 2023 tacoma!
I will stick to my V6, Toyota made a bad decision going to 4Cy turbo long term
If going with a faster more powerful powertrain is a bad decision…I guess so😬
When checking door closing, try it with one widow cracked a little. Tacoma goes from nice to cheap sounding
Not on mine👍
Please please please… switch brands. It’s painful listening to you whine about every little thing on your Tacoma. Also, When trading in, see if the new dealer will throw in a t-shirt that has sleeves! 😂
Hate to ask…but I have to! Why are you here?
I’m looking to trade my 2019 Tundra but I too have been on the fence.
I wanted the Tacoma but lately I’ve been thinking about the new Land Cruiser…..
Completely different animals! A truck vs an SUV.

Great to hear! Sounds like the new Tacoma is performing flawlessly! Safe travels 👍
Don’t sleep on the frontier …I own a 2024 and still a true beast of a truck. They will never goto a 4 banger turbo!
@@rblaclewell I also have a 2024 trd sport with the six speed manual fully loaded underground in color absolutely love the truck
I have a Ridgeline along with my Tacoma…. I love my Tacoma, but the Honda ride quality is WAY better than my Tacoma
Obviously bcos it’s a car not a truck.
Tacoma"-The one and only"
Rob, when are you replacing the skid plate?
Very soon👍
Yea because a refresh did so much for toyota
I would love to see Colorado zr2 content on the channel
Looks like a nice truck👍

I hope you mean more backseat seating room! A bigger back seat would make it even smaller back there!

I’ve had no issues with mine. Not sure what the Tundra has to do with it?
@RobMotive transmissions and I think the engine Toyota is going to replace the transmission of the Tundra Rob check it out.
That's the Tundra (it's the engine btw). Not sure what that has to do with the Tacoma?
@RobMotive I heard not all but some 4 cylinder Tacoma with turbo have problems. It's like not every Taco bell is going to make a Taco supream. Ahh…ya lost me on that one….😬
You spent way to much time picking flaws in your tacom my 2024 tacoma sport plus with a 6 foot box is perfect
I tell it like it is. Nothing is perfect👍
Good video tacoma is best pickup for me
Ranger Raptor! I believe the proper name is a Turd-Bo not turbo
Ranger Raptor had 2x Turd-Bo...Awesome truck for sure!
The 2024 TACOMA ITS UGLY it Doesn’t look like a Toyota 🤮
Matter of opinion I suppose.

No, you don't have to have a truck!😁
Who? Me....
All those are really just 4 wheel wheel barrows, aren't they ? C- mon
I don’t think so.
Chevrolet the best
Do you have one!

Agree, love my 2024 solar octane trd off road premium as well.
It's your money your decision, I'm gonna buy a 2024 TRD Sport 4X4.
Ranger is rather bland.
Other than the Raptor it’s down right white bread. Even the Nissan frontier looks better.
Where are you?
In my recliner. Where are you😂

If you like Toyota products yet choose to buy a GM product, that will be a huge financial miserable mistake.
