This is like Christmas! So many videos weekly. I know I’m greedy, but I hope it doesn’t stop. You’re the only person that tells it like it is on here. I’m not a trucker, but always wanted to be just don’t think I have the patience for it. So, I live through you.
Just a thought about changing oil filters in a tight spot where the oil runs all over everything. I just take tin foil and devise a funnel that will transfer the oil to a container without the mess. Enjoy your KW. I drove them for years. Also, the world would be a better place if there were more Lita's. You are a lucky guy. Keep on Truckin'
Just because you are from Georgia, you don't have to act like you're from Georgia! All I said was he should either go trucking by himself or get a local job and be home everyday. Trucking with a wife and 2 dogs is embarrassing. When I seen him schlepping from the motel with wife and dogs in tow for 2 miles I felt sorry for the wife and dogs. Just because you're from Georgia, you don't have to act like it.(Hint). The house needs improvement let her stay home and keep up on the place thats all. @@harley2die4
so happy you guys are moving forward, we all love and worry about you. Let the good times roll. Go make money and keep this channel going. Henk reporting out of Cheyenne
Amazing how you just go dig right into the KW. So many of the young drivers just want to get in go and don’t have the foggiest idea what to do when there is an issue. Get those drivers off the road and raise the rates for the good drivers.
the exhaust needs the kw bracket and special tip, look at a horizontal exhaust the next time you see one fueling, the apu needs a usb cable if it doesnt have one so you can plug in your laptop and check the code and stuff, it is preloaded and opens a screen when the usb hit the lap top, if it dosent have one you take off the four screws and pop off the top under the bunk and you will see it kinda off center, dont mess with the oil filter system what you have works fine, if you keep the idle time low you can do 40k services, open a quickserve with your serial number and start learning about your engine the manual is online and free, if you can connect to your engine ecm you need to turn on some aftertreatment items, regen in pto, and regen with park brake, in insite its the top two items when you open the tab, not sure if it will be the same with your diagnosis tool but should be.
Laughed when you said, now a grass burner. When I was a volunteer firefighter, we got a new truck not realizing the exhaust was pointing down. At a practice, we started a grass fire under the new truck.
Great video. It's great that you're sons can help you. Lita, is sure a great partner. Can't wait to see the finished truck. Keep up the hard work. Prayers. Take care. ❤
It looks to me that the exhaust hanger you made may be a bit lightweight. I am betting the vibration will end it in a couple month's. It may be better if you had two hangers running down in a V pattern. It would help with rocking side to side. Just a thought.
@Nathangies there's a reason most exhaust hangers are mounted in rubber and the vibration on an ordinary vehicle, would be nothing compared to a freight shaker.
I had a 98 T2000 that my wife and I loved when we drove as a team. After 5 years she came off the road and I got a W900L with a 610 hp Detroit Series 60 and 18 over Eaton and loved it. I found a dedicated run from Carrollton GA to Kent Wa and the Detroit would stroll. I would do 1000 mi take a 4 hour nap and get up and do it again. After 2 years I had aged 5 but my 2 year old tractor and refer were paid for.
Note. Please don't put the exhaust excit under the truck because you are pulling a float trailer. For some reason it will push the exhaust gasses into the cab. It happened to me and almost axfixated me. I had to extend it past the reaend to get it away from the cab. It's becoming a extra job to keep things going. Happy trucking from a guy that started trucking in 1964 with vacuum brakes witch can scare the crap out of you trying to stop. Fred
I’ve always been a W900 but I saw one of these in person and I was hooked!! A big ass sleeper with all kinds of room in it!! They are just awesome trucks I would love to have one!!!
Great Vlog! Fun watching someone else "Heat n Hammer" to get parts to fit. That exhaust bracket you fabricated could probably be a bit heavier gauge. I think the exhaust vibration might take it out? Time will tell, hate to see it dragging on the freeway. A hole saw would work good to put some race (cooling) holes in the headache rack. We're you going to park the trailer? You'll figure it out. "Casper" would be a cool name for the white KW!
Hello Robert and Lita, congrats on the new truck I hope it is good to y'all. Seeing all the troubles you go through I just have to wonder how the company's with 10 or 20 trucks make it the company you brought the truck from looked like a smaller company but were doing good. I live pretty close to the Maverick Trucking Company and they have all newer and good looking trucks and their drivers all look clean-cut and wear uniforms. Somebody is making money in the trucking business and some go under. Cheer's and God Bless!!
The new truck is coming along nicely. Great job on the exhaust by the way. Was wondering why the APU was idling up & down like it was there at the end. Atleast it went out at home instead of after u got back out on the road. Can't wait to see U & Lita making money with the new truck. God bless my friends
I know we don’t see everything as it should be but I want to say that Lita, like my wife is very supportive. From appearances we call her that ride or die chick. Nothing disrespectful, that’s a compliment from my wife and I. Good things with the new truck. Happy Halloween ti Lita. 😊
You put out good content. You guys deserved that truck so much. Been following for awhile. If you ever change the opening start of the videos with the new truck. Please leave Lita in where she's driving. It's great. Anyway Stay Blessed.
I would have detailed the truck good on the outside and the headache rack before i put it on and the exhaust would have been a double stack on the back.
The only thing I would’ve did a lil different should’ve turned the bracket up a lil bit at the end because them exhaust clamps get loose over time and without a lip on it when it get loose it will start moving
So happy to see the U-bolts! Lol! I was sure that's what Lita was getting from Fleet Pride... I had the exact same pigtail support with the jump-off connections, but my headache rack came with it's own pigtail connections so I removed the old support. Wound up using the jump-off 4/O cables to feed my inverter - exact size I needed and my battery boxes have a locking hinged cover. One good thing about you moving into another truck is the opportunity to make improvements as you move in. Little things that you learned after running the Mack for a while. Every trip I make I think of how I can make things better or more efficient. Just got back from Indiana this morning and will be moving my APU control box for better temperature sensing. As for your mattress, go to Sam's and pick up the Serta 3" Cool Nights Gel Memory Foam Mattress Topper for $80 (Twin XL).
could you kindly lift fan motor assembly which at present is behind the headache rack and fix it above the headache rack with twin brackets supporting it on the rack .
If you’re going to do that to the exhaust better go get it retuned before you end up like me. 21 T680 dropped the exhaust down for the same reason yeah 8k later I was back on the road.
Don't angle that weed burner toward that axle it'll melt air lines an possibly damage the air bag when it gets hot , that comment comes fron past experience
Those band clamps are not reusable they will work in a pinch but best to use a new one. you need a much heavier duty bracket on the end of that pipe what you have will not last very long.
It'll be another lawn ornament like that broken down motor hone and the hotshot trailer that hasn't moved an inch in 3 years. I bet he's the most favorite guy in the neighborhood with the Fred Sanford property and the Green Acres chicken ranch out back.
Ain't that the Damm truth. I made the mistake of feeding one that took up at my place afew months ago. I now have 14 and 3 of them are kittens. It's a good thing I live in the country. I am trying to get rid of them. Cat 🐈 food isn't cheap.
@larrycobb3102 we put out a dish for our one outside cat, and we see multiple cats eating throughout the day. I put a small dog bed out on a bench for our cat, but one of the neighbors' cat sleeps in it every night. Almost all the neighbors have cats, but one buys the cheapest catfood they can buy, so their cats come here to eat. I wouldn't feed my cat food she doesn't like, so I don't care to feed good food to others.
After my indoor cat died in 2019 at the age of 22 years, I adopted an outdoor cat. She meets me at the back door every morning, but she refuses to be my new inside cat. She’s one of three siblings from her mom, who I started feeding in 2019.
Watching the Mack get disassembled caused teardrops from my good eye!
UNDER THE HOOD ON DRIVER SIDE THERE IS A POSITIVE THING THERE IF U NEED TO JUMP IT BROTHER
Should have both positive and negative. My T880 does.
This is like Christmas! So many videos weekly. I know I’m greedy, but I hope it doesn’t stop. You’re the only person that tells it like it is on here. I’m not a trucker, but always wanted to be just don’t think I have the patience for it. So, I live through you.

I’ve driven trucks for over20 yrs and KW and the Petes were always my favorites!! Great job with the videos 😊 i catch myself binge watching lol 😂
It rescued you, Leta and the Mac should call it the White Knight 🤗
I'm sure your neighbors are happy to see you bring more junk semis to the neighborhood.
A man can never have to much junk 😂

One man’s junk is another man’s treasure.
Great video, looking forward to the next chapter in the KW…….

The ventilation hole on your rack for your air looks like it needs to be larger. Any restriction will make it run hot and burn it up.
Headache rack looks good 👍 and the exhaust you did a good job .and sounds good to
the exhaust needs the kw bracket and special tip, look at a horizontal exhaust the next time you see one fueling, the apu needs a usb cable if it doesnt have one so you can plug in your laptop and check the code and stuff, it is preloaded and opens a screen when the usb hit the lap top, if it dosent have one you take off the four screws and pop off the top under the bunk and you will see it kinda off center, dont mess with the oil filter system what you have works fine, if you keep the idle time low you can do 40k services, open a quickserve with your serial number and start learning about your engine the manual is online and free, if you can connect to your engine ecm you need to turn on some aftertreatment items, regen in pto, and regen with park brake, in insite its the top two items when you open the tab, not sure if it will be the same with your diagnosis tool but should be.
It's Halloween; time to move those hands onto the KW's grill :)
Laughed when you said, now a grass burner. When I was a volunteer firefighter, we got a new truck not realizing the exhaust was pointing down. At a practice, we started a grass fire under the new truck.
Haha I did that at a jobsite with my mustang when I was young
Hopefully you have a temp sensor on the axle as you may need to watch the temps when the truck goes into Regen it will get very hot
Oh Man I can’t believe you took the stack off a Kenworth I would of been adding a second one lol
Now you have to reshoot your intro. Nice KW.
I am happy for you getting that new rig -love the videos. Dogs also...
Great video. It's great that you're sons can help you. Lita, is sure a great partner. Can't wait to see the finished truck. Keep up the hard work. Prayers. Take care. ❤

Ya it looks like it’s gonna fall off sooner than later

Kenworth has jumper post under the hood driver side Frame rail!
That is a build option. Not every KW has it.
This channel went from ‘we don’t know what content we will be able to post’ to nonstop great content. Keep up the great videos
116th from Indy University Hospital waiting for them open
Very nice truck, was thinking 'Ghost' would be a good name, sure Lita would agree, or mile marker
I’ve always been a W900 but I saw one of these in person and I was hooked!! A big ass sleeper with all kinds of room in it!! They are just awesome trucks I would love to have one!!!
Have mad respect for you and Lita tricker treat how does Mackie get along with your new family member
Who’s the new family member? You mean the orange cat? They’re ok as long as I’m watching lol
Good job on that exhaust Robert, going from stack to weed burner..
Great Vlog! Fun watching someone else "Heat n Hammer" to get parts to fit. That exhaust bracket you fabricated could probably be a bit heavier gauge. I think the exhaust vibration might take it out? Take it to a muffler shop and half the pipe flare to fit then clamp or tac weld

Be careful, I had a grass burner set up and it melted my hard plastic fender. It will melt anything close when it regens.
Good luck folks with new truck things certainly need to go your way for a change good luck 👍
I took the bracket off that connects the air and pigtail and drilled a hole in my headache rack and mounted it there
That rod sticking up with your lines attached to it is generally called a pogo stick. Good job on the exhaust pipe.
I know we don’t see everything as it should be but I want to say that Lita, like my wife is very supportive. From appearances we call her that ride or die chick. Nothing disrespectful, that’s a compliment from my wife and I. Good things with the new truck. Happy Halloween ti Lita. 😊

Great deal
Making it your own!
Put a bigger headache rack with storage compartments
Robert, you should have made a side pipe, like the old corvette's have. ha ha
Surprised Lita hasn't permanently adopted that orange cat since it's Halloween colors lol
I would have detailed the truck good on the outside and the headache rack before i put it on and the exhaust would have been a double stack on the back.
Looking good
White lightning, white rhino white, Lotus.
Dude. I wish my videos were half as good as yours
I like to use the rubber/tire exhaust hangers so things can move around if need be
The only thing I would’ve did a lil different should’ve turned the bracket up a lil bit at the end because them exhaust clamps get loose over time and without a lip on it when it get loose it will start moving

Actually we had the u bolts from when we did the Mack. People said I couldn’t use chains so I refused to change them
@@SouthGeorgiahotshot LMAO! Yeah, I'm that kind of stubborn also!
Looks great but that exhaust “rod” will last bout a month as thin as it is… ask me how I know… I have a grass-burner too
Most of the Kw's I've driven had jumper cable studs, under the hood, drivers side.
Hi Robert and Lita
Call it white lighting
AREA Diesel Service-- they can test re due and sell you new injectors plus any part you need they are good ole boys.
Love the daily videos. Do you need to get new tags or transfer the ones off the Mack? Looking forward to seeing your go get the trailer.
could you kindly lift fan motor assembly which at present is behind the headache rack and fix it above the headache rack with twin brackets supporting it on the rack .
Do it. Make it your own.
Have you thought about a Fass system for fuel system?
I took everything off my pogo stick and mounted it in my headache rack
Hello Robert. Can the exhaust fumes find their way into the cab? The fuel pump on the APU should be easier than the truck engine. Have good days!
you 2 rocks
😂the intro is funny
Bolt your wiring bracket to under the headache rack leg
If you’re going to do that to the exhaust better go get it retuned before you end up like me. 21 T680 dropped the exhaust down for the same reason yeah 8k later I was back on the road.
You should get in touch with that gentry and sons you tube guy and get him to fix your Mack 😂
My t680 has jumper terminals drivers side frame under hood
Mechanically Inclined -- but please dont tear up that KW 😆😆
What are your plans for the Mack? Lita should get her CDL and she could run the T680 as automatic.
You still have your ODIA sticker
Are you keeping the old truck once it is fixed or are you gonna sell it?
It'll be another lawn ornament like that broken down motor hone and the hotshot trailer that hasn't moved an inch in 3 years.
I bet he's the most favorite guy in the neighborhood with the Fred Sanford property and the Green Acres chicken ranch out back.
Haul it to the scrap yard lol
May as well remove the stack to match having an auto trans.
Kw should have the jump points under the hood
Should have put Lita in the Mack and she could have steered it while you backed it in.
It has jump pole under the hood I think
What about the Mini-Split? Are you removing it and reinstalling it on the KW?
No it has the Apu ac installed
Have mad respect for you two but take the time and get your truck setup. Organize your stuff, it will be a lot easier in the future.
how the hell did you drive that home good job
""WhiteeeBulgeer"" or White..Lightning

Wow apu. Lol
Wassup
Once you feed a cat, you own a cat, or they own you. Either way, you're buying cat food. Lol.

How many miles did the Mack carry you?
150k
You should name the truck Kenny the Kenworth
Truck looks very good. Just wish it was 10 or 13 speed.
9:25 Jumper lugs should be under the hood of the KW, Drivers side on the frame. By the way, I vote for "White Privilege" lol
Don’t start no forest fires with the exhaust.
Can’t the kids do anything while your gone? Have them do the cleaning up.
Put it where the motor home is
Put the motor home I'm front of the Mack
Backing them KWs are some kind of joke
Take the battery from the ford and us it...
It’s comments like these are the reason I don’t listen to advise from 99% of the subs lol
Sorry robert I don't know what I said....
I got a plan. Sell the hotshot trailer and put the money into the Mack and get a driver for it.
Now you can stop jumping in your truck going down the road. Just think how much better your back will feel.
if i were u,i would stop buying cheap sh t for the new truck
He can't help himself. He's got an Amazon Chinese clap trap addiction.
