☘️ February was a shockingly slow reading moth for me too. March TBR includes finishing T he Aeneid, The Western Wind by Samantha Harvey and Sweet Bean Paste by Durian Sukegawa. Plus whatever Uni throws at me. Just so you knew … I Capture the Castle is one the most charming books I’ve ever read. Hope you have a better March.
Oh I'm so glad to hear that about I Capture the Castle!! I am planning on slowly reading The Aeneid over the next ten years lol. I've got about 10 pages done.
My March reading month will be rather wonky, since I’m in rehearsals for my play in Omaha. But I just read Circe and, as someone who doesn’t really care about Greek mythology, LOVED it. Gorgeous writing and storytelling. Currently, I’m reading Prairie Fires by Caroline Fraser, a biography of Laura Ingalls Wilder. That should take me through the end of this month! You’ll fly through Shark Heart. I read it in a matter of hours.
I picked Kill For Me Kill For You, Murder Road, and Listen for the Lie. Next month is my one year BOTM anniversary. Will report back on if murder road traumatizes me. Will definitely be a daytime read lol.
It also wasn’t a great reading month for me. My kids brought home the plague and it was hard to read. But my tbr includes: Binti Our Missing Hearts The Fire Keeper’s Daughter And I’m going shoot The Fox Wife up to the top of my list if you say it’s good
Best wishes with your reading choices. I hope you get some great stories.

The Aeneid is all about the translation. I'm reading the penguin classic translated by David West. It's prose, so it's really readable.

I've heard Shark Heart is good for a binge read! I'll pick a weekend and devour it. Good luck in your play!
I read The Fox Wife and loved it! Frim BOTM i selected A Fate Inked In Blood, First Lie Wins and Weyward as the free finalist book. Enjoy your books!
I finished the Fox Wife! Sooo good. It'll be in my February wrap up. I hope you enjoy your books too!

Yes please tell me about Murder Road! I loved The Broken Girls and the Book of Cold Cases but they were pretty spooky for thrillers lol

Our Missing Hearts

I really liked it!! Full review coming most likely Monday but beautifully written. I hope the plague has vacated your household 😷
