- Turin DF64 Single Dose Coffee Grinder: Unboxing, Setting up, and Dialing-in
*Correction, the SSP burr is "High-Uniformity"
Finally, got my first single dose flat burr grinder (excited 😀) and I upgraded the DF64 with SSP burr. The built is solid and heavy like a barbel 😅. A big difference with the quality of coffee grounds it produce, no clumps. I feel I don't need a WDT tool. Quiet than my built-in grinder. Espresso taste better. It's a nice experience!

I need this kind of video but for the Gen 2. I am brand new to the whole espresso world and just got my machine and my grinder. I bought the Gen 2 version but I don't know how to align it. I figured it was aligned out of the box but I just got fresh beans in for Christmas :) so I am looking forward to learning how to make a proper espresso. It's really intimidating to figure out the whole thing and I'm not even to the latte art portion of the journey yet lol but this was a great video :)
Such a nice video.
Trying to decide between this and the 64P.
64P is espresso focus (dialing-in is not filtered coffee friendly). DF64 can be espresso focus or multi-purpose (espresso or filtered). Just need to change the flat burr for specific use.
Good video bro. Mine is arriving soon, but I am running it on standard burrs and without any mods. Looking forward to dialling it in. If I keep it I'll run some red ssp burrs on it. Way down the track though.
Ayos buti na lng meron vid na ganto.. kabibili ko lng v4 standard burr😊..
Enjoy po!
@@HomeBaristaCorner hirap mag latte art hahahah di ko talaga makuha
Nice upgrade to your pro! So you order it with already installed upgrade burrs from the Merchant?
Yes, the supplier installed the SSP burr. But I find it easy to installed. Just be careful screwing to avoid the damage.
Nice video, just received my df64 yesterday - can't afford the red speed burrs just yet! I was advised to run 1kg of cheap supermarket beans through it to season the burrs. Can I ask what scales you are using as I'm looking out for a small reliable set to put under my gaggia classic
I have a Solis pocket weighing scale for bigger cup
@@HomeBaristaCorner thanks for the quick reply! how tall are they roughly please? (not alot of room under my portafilter for cup)

Hello, im new on espresso world, just wonder why you bought an external grinder eventhou you already have on on the breville?
Barista Pro is a great machine for beginners. You can stick with this if you just need quality morning coffee. But if you want to improve your espresso shot (now my hobby), a separate grinder is better. My only complain is the Breville grinder, so much clumps so you really need a WDT tool to declump and distribute the coffee grounds well. Breville grinders are conical burr while DF64 is a flat burr. The quality of coffee grounds it produce is great and taste better than Breville grinder. Bought the DF64 for espresso and for my pour-over coffee.
@@HomeBaristaCorner thanks for the quick feedback, if the clumps were the main issue, as a beginner, should i purchase the Breville Infuser (BES840) without the internal grinder and purchase separate grinder DF64 for long-term use?
@@LogimonYT I will highly recommend the Breville Bambino Plus and DF64. The specs of these are great!
San nyo po nabili ito? Mulhang update version na
Yes ito na yung new batch pati declumper pinalitan na rin. I'm based in Singapore, official supplier nila dito.
