One thing I notice and love about Zeliha’s generation is that many of them are good cooks. Good enough to feed a group of people. Cooking is also seen as a cool thing. I remember being in my 20s and not many of us knew how to cook. Maybe it was just my circle of friends.
it’s easier than ever to access any recipes
When I was in university many of my roommates barely cooked. It might just be Zeliha's group of housemates, you have to note that most if not all of them are in med school or grad school so I would say they know how to take care of themselves more and save money cooking then eating out.
@@DoJoStan I also lived in an apartment with a bunch of other students. We had a functioning kitchen and only one of us was confident enough to cook for the rest. We did pool our resources to buy groceries for her to cook for everyone. And the rest of us helped cutting stuff, set the table and do the dishes.
@@imparcialmente That's true. I think the fact that cooking shows like Master Chef for adults and kids are very popular also helps make cooking cool and accessible.
I started to cook myself at the moment when I left my house and entered university at 17☺

I think your followers are mostly students, but I am not, wish I’ve watched these kinds of inspirational vlogs etc when I was studying. Nevertheless, I am still impressed & inspired while watching your vlogs as an employee who struggles to get used to the new company’s workflow after quitting from the company I used to work for 5 years.
